Dungeon Keeper 2 - I liked the first one (and finished it) but for some reason the idea of a second one never appealed to me. I think maybe I heard somewhere it wasn't as good but I dont know if that is true or not.

Theme Hospital - I never really got into the sim games in a big way. I like games with end goals and I'm not sure that this one has one. I could be wrong tho.

Maxvorstadt: Oh, I forgot the reason why I don`t own Planescape Torment. It`s because I don`t like this D&D universe and the rules of it.
As someone that doesn't like D&D stuff either, I can assure you that PS:T is definitely worth playing regardless. In fact, it's much closer to an adventure game than a typical RPG. It's also far less cliché than most fantasy games.

disi: blasphemy!!!! ;)

Leroux: I didn't like the first all that much either, but it was worth slogging through it so I could play the second, which remains one of my favorite RPGs to this day. :P.

Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition.

I hate FPSes, and like about everything else in the old school pcgaming genre.

ET3D: Took me a while to realise it was bestselling on GOG (the list gave it away, but until then...).

Of these, and considering not only GOG purchases, Dungeon Keeper 2. Just not my kind of game.

Surprisingly enough, looks like I have at least 11 of the top 15 (not sure about Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri; if own it that would make 12). That's when counting some version variation (for example, I only have the original BG, not the Full Saga).

ET3D: What do you mean by "D&D universe"? Planescape is quite a different setting than The Forgotten Realms.
Well, I shouldn`t have said "universe", it`s more the rules thing. For example, there is not much of levelling in the D&D games. The system might be good for pen & paper RPG, but computer RPGs deserve more levels.

snowkatt: balders gate 2

i didnt like the first so i am not apt to like the second much either
I didn't like the first one that much either (mostly boring etc.), but I enjoyed BG2 much more.

The bad news is that in my opinion you enjoy BG2 story more, if you first play through the first (boring) Baldur's Gate. Just so that you get familiar with the characters, baddies etc. Playing BG2 alone is like watching Terminator 2 without seeing the first movie. Ok I guess, but it makes sense to see the first movie beforehand (e.g. why did Sarah end up in a mental institution, the relationships between different characters etc.).

Somehow getting one ally in BG2 (was it the expansion pack?) is much more effective experience when you've encountered him in the first game...

Theme Hospital followed by Master of Orion 1+2, and Rollercoaster Tycoon: Deluxe.
Freespace 2 for me, due to the lacking of serious Interplay promos.
Top 5

Dungeon Keeper 2 (didn't like DK1 that much - too much Keeper vs Keeper instead of Keeper vs Heroes.
HoMM3 Complete (Have it boxed)
MoO/2 (Have them boxed)
Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe (not interested)
Sim City 2000 SE (lost my boxed version, but not interested anymore)

This is not the engine, it is D&D. But the whole game is based on that and resting an important part.
Look at Dark-Eye for example, there you can use any prepared spell per fight as long as you don't run out of astral-points.
Actually the first one (because of no interest in it) :D
Planescape: Torment

Dungeon Keeper 2 - Not really into this type of games. And I haven't played the first one yet anyway.
Simcity 2000, Syndicate, Caesar 3, Legend of Grimrock and Deus Ex are the ones on the first page that I don't have on GOG.

Simcity 2000 because I have it on disc and I can always use the Origin freebie version if I feel too lazy to drag out the disc to install it.

Syndicate and Caesar 3 because I have them on disc (nowhere else).

Deus Ex because I have it on disc and also on Steam through some bundle deal or another.

Legend of Grimrock because I bought it off the Humble Widget on the dev's website.

Alpha Centauri for me.

For the first page, I don't own:
Alpha Centauri (no real desire to play it, but I like Civ. I may be missing out.)
Arcanum (that will be rectified one day -- just no time to play it right now)
Master of Orion (Never played it, buddy loves it)
RollerCoaster Tycoon 1+2 (brother loves these, I've never played one)
System Shock 2 (no real desire to play it)
Sim City 2000 (I once owned it on disc - I like Sim City 4 more)
Freespace 2 (That will one day be rectified -- probably my next space sim purchase)
Total Annihilation (+1 for music, never played it though :D)
Casear 3 (never played, don't know much about)
Pharaoh+Cleo (never played, don't know much about)
WingCommander 1-3, Privateer (I have the WCs that I want. 4 here, 3 on Origin)
Zeus+Possidon (never played, don't know much about)
Master of Magic (never played, but might one day. Looks interesting.)
HoMM2 (played it so many times I don't think I'll ever play it again -- I have 3 on disc)
Deus Ex (I have no desire to play that one -- looks hokey)
Ultima Underworld 1+2 (never played, never will)
StrongholdHD (I've beaten it so many times that I don't think I'll ever play it again)
Gabriel Knight (never played, probably never will)

Yay! I don't own a lot. That makes me feel happy. :)
