It seems to me that the new wish list was just a tease, as none of the many games I listed on mine have been added. It would be helpful if there were status updates or emails sent out regarding negotiations, progress, timelines, or something.

For the vast majority of the games on my wish list, I would be willing to pay a premium price for!

Let's make a deal GOG.
And again, did you seriously expect anything else?

And any such discussions tend to be held to NDAs, de facto if not actual ones, as in those involved know that if anything leaks before everything settled (and likely even after, before an agreed upon announcement or launch date), they can kiss anything further goodbye.
And there had been approaches and attempts for any title with any reasonable number of votes on the old wishlist. The very best the new one might accomplish is maybe, rarely, in case of games with truly huge numbers of votes, give one last push to a rightsholder who was on the edge before.
Gestures vaguely at the Dreamlist.

I've gone and put several non-starters on the Dreamlist, of which not only would be a logistics nightmare to find the rights of, but even moreso to even emulate. Mainframe games. PowerPC Mac games that were never ported. Illegal arcade romhacks.

Until GOG addresses those, I can only think of the DreamList™ as a well intentioned publicity stunt and nothing more.
Grandia II HD REmaster.
Incredible Creatures.
Going with the ones that should not be a problem at all, like filling all the holes that are inexplicably present in Nightdive's catalogue for example, would be a start. For reference:
https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/NightDiveStudios

I would buy MadSpace and Z.A.R. instantly. But ND simply refuses to give us release parity, despite repeatedly claiming how "GOG friendly" they are.
FAR CRY 3! ASSASSIN'S CREED IV: BLACK FLAG! PARAWORLD!

Though, right about now i would really like DEEP ROCK GALACTIC!
So please vote here, do it for Karl!
Seriously we had 430 votes already! Before gog screw it up with the Dreamlist!

GoG also screw up Thanatos (1986) from 101 votes on the wishlist to 18 votes on the shitlist (Dreamlist)! So i'd appreciate if you vote here so we can get back to previous number. Would love to play the first dragon simulator ever made!

And one last GoG shitlist vote manipulation screw up! Primal Rage, from 898 votes on Community Wishlist to 538 on "Dreamlist" so vote here! I wanted this game for ages.
Gujian 3

It was basically released with a always-online-DRM, despite being a single player game. This seemed to work well because it took about 2 years before the first cracks was appearing. Although most likely not because those crackers could not be faster, it was simply not "on their radar" according to many views; at least until the point it has become more popular, even in the West.

Anyway, i guess up to this moment the always-online-DRM is probably still active, no matter how many pirates are now playing it... and no matter how many legal buyers has become upset because of many issues linked to it. I could check it out but not much hope... especially for Chinese games DRM is a big issue, always with exceptions (one of them the Xuan-Yuan Sword-series). If it is still DRMed... i swear i will give it back instantly and a 1 star review as well.

If this issue is solved, it is clearly one of the "big" Chinese games, for me, not any lesser than another DRM infested "Black Myth Wukong". There are alternate options, but unfortunately currently "not quite at the same level due to different reasons".

Lots of them, really... I actually maintain a personal list that in its present state comprises around 300 entries, though admittedly the vast majority of them are only of limited interest. Circumscribing it to just the high, or medium-high, priority titles (and leaving aside any consideration concerning feasibility):

·) Games that aren't available anywhere:
Mechwarrior series
Hexen II: Portal of Praevus
Syndicate (2012)
Chameleon (2005)
You Are Empty
Vyruz: Destruction of the Untel Empire
American McGee's Alice
Gears of War (the original version)
Frater / The Chosen: Well of Souls
Quarantine (1994)
Airfix: Dogfighter
G-Police
Radix: Beyond the Void
Recoil (1999)
Infestation (2000)
Shipwreckers! / Overboard!
Fire Fight
One Step Beyond
Lemmings series
Micro Machines series
Biosys
Nocturne
the missing expansions for Dungeon Siege (Legends of Aranna, Broken World)
Drakan: Order of the Flame
(Captain) Claw
Get Medieval
Captain Quazar
Montezuma's Return!
Abomination
Total Mayhem / Total Mania
Cybermercs: The Soldiers of the 22nd Century
Gender Wars
Hammer & Sickle
Atrox
The L.E.D. Wars
Space Clash: The Last Frontier
Outlive
R.U.S.E.: The Art of Deception
Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds
Primitive Wars
Strike series (Desert, Jungle, Nuclear)
Marble Drop

·) Games that are currently sold, but not DRM-free:
Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
Condemned: Criminal Origins
HALO series (incl. HALO Wars 1 & 2, Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 + Uprising
StarCraft II Collection
Grey Goo
Space Hulk: Tactics
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters + Duty Eternal
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr
Bulletstorm
Borderlands GOTY
Serious Sam 3
Z.A.R. + Mission Pack
MadSpace: To Hell and Beyond
Bionic Commando (2009) & Bionic Commando Rearmed
Cold Fear
Contrast
SCHiM
Rollers of the Realm
Loki: Heroes of Mythology
Tactical Troops: Anthracite Shift
Nuke Them All
Shrot
Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps And Beans 1 & 2
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light & Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
SIGNALIS
Polarity (2013)
Quantum Conundrum
ChromaGun
Perilous Warp
Wrack + Wrack: Exoverse
Kvark
Fashion Police Squad
Sky Force Anniversary & Reloaded
Windowkill
BioGun
Castlevania Collection

(I purposefully left out games that would obviously make for terrific additions to GOG catalogue, but that I already own and therefore I'm personally less interested in, such as NOLF, Command & Conquer, Max Payne, Diablo II etc. as well as games still in early access).
The game in which I am primarily interested in obtaining is not yet available anywhere (of which I am aware) without DRM.
It is in my games at Steam, but, abandoning my Steam account, I decided that I will no longer play any games with DRM.
I enjoyed the game, its relatable characters, enthralling music, and vivid, natural, and compelling environment are still embedded deep within me. Its name is NieR: Automata and I yearn to travel to and abide in that world yet again. It is the only game that I can honestly promise that I would pay $100.00 U.S. dollars to acquire a permanent digital copy sans DRM.
Outer Wilds
L.A. Noire
NieR: Automata
DEVOTION
The Mooseman
Valiant Hearts: The Great War
The Unfinished Swan
Pentiment
Versailles 1685
1.Pilgrim: Faith as a Weapon
2.The Legend of the prophet and the assassin
3.The Secrets of Alamut
Ascendancy
Companions of Xanth
Darkseed
Tlon: A Misty Story
Cosmology of Kyoto
The Lost Vikings
Mordor The Depths of Dejenol

Let's make a deal GOG.
This stuff can take years, and GOG don't want to share too much because it could jeopardize the deal, or lead to major disappointment if the deal falls through. Also, some companies, like billion dollar ones, don't want to deal with GOG's small market share or are scared of explicit DRM-freedom.

The Dreamlist can help negotiations if a game gets an impressive number of votes, but it's just one small part.

What games do you want here? Any indies?

Here's my own idea (linked below) including some games I think GOG could perhaps have an easier time getting than AAAs, but I could certainly be wrong. Maybe it's easier to get old Capcom, SEGA, or Konami games here than indies who have already found major success on Steam.

Those publishers dont "have" to deal with GOG: They enjoy Steam services with Steam keys, spyware and whatelse with a huge number of gamers strongly supporting it, and they are strongly supporting it as well... so it seems the majority is happy with and is supporting each others.

Nonetheless... i was always the one supporting minorities and some minorities are way stronger in long term than anyone with a "big stick, and a long pole" could guess at that point, because they reveal some truth that in long term can not be avoided nor ignored. So, the time definitely is on our side if we survive it and i am certain there will be more of the "big games" and "big publishers" in the future.
