Rsgames246: I frequent the SCP wiki and I'm wondering some odd entries out there that just make you say why the heck were these written links would be appreciated

www.scpwiki.com/
When it comes to odd (among all the oddness going on there in general) SCP-3999 immediately comes to mind, it's one of the more memorable entries in my opinion! And of course 2521 for the way it's delivered but I'm sure you know this one.

Darvond: You know, SCP used to actually be a funny kind of website, then people who didn't get the joke took over.
Funny in what sense? It's always been aiming for a serious / dry tone, and there are both more comedic and more spooky SCPs in every series really; I recall watching the video linked and apart of going into admin/writer drama it doesn't really explain why would it be better in the past and bad now, maybe apart of the fact that there are so many people willing to contribute nowadays it's I guess maybe easier to find stuff you wont like. Personally I don't see a huge difference jumping between series 1 and later ones though

I've been on the internet since 1995 and I've never come across this... wtf, you never stop learning, and weirdness is infinite.
SCP 3000: Anantashesha.

I actually learnt about it on an SCP Animated youtube channel while... entering the dark side of Youtube haha... Please help me? xD

Anyway, is not the SCP itself that's weird, but the whole lore around it and mystery. It just compels me in a way non other SCP does. It's creepy, dangerous, mysterious... and gives a sense of fatality that is particularly exciting. Also, the fact that I like everything that is underwater, and this thing is at the bottom of the ocean, in the infinite darkness...

Funny in the, "Science gone horribly right" or "Science isn't about why! It's about WHY NOT!" kind of way. So Silent Hill+Aperture, basically. Instead of, "Gross horror monster that will kill anyone if you don't do the Macarena at half tempo."

It's not the same website that produced the original Pufferkittens article, in otherwords.

I don't even understand what this thread is supposed to be about, total gibberish.

Since you seem to be a smart minded adult, i'm sure you'll be able to follow a web link(such as the one in the OP post). ;)

I looked it up on Wikipedia...ok, it's some creative writing project about horror stuff. Doesn't really interest me, but I suppose it's entertaining enough, if one likes that kind of thing.
I'm thinking this forum might be an SCP. Likely an Euclid.

It's more or less a "verse" of creepypasta stuff written/maintained by the community around it.

Btw a bit of trivia: the game control is more or less a game version of it

Better hope there's no instances of SCP 173 about. o.0 ;)

Imagine the Purple Dot being an indicator of something spooky happening in the world or any other universe. Like a way for our forum to tell us something or warn us about something terrible. Like the Scarlet King gaining more power?

Or maybe something nice, like a Lagun being born in another galaxy.

At first the link wasn't there, and then wrong links were provided...

I also checked that out yesterday, so is that really something everyone should know, what SCP (in this context) means?

I don't recall if I have ever heard about this SCP horror story stuff before, sounds even odder than "Salad Fingers" or "Slender Man" or "CreepyPasta" or what have you. To me SCP still meant "Service Control Point" in the telecom network, sorry.

So this is what all the cool whippersnappers do nowadays then... I am so out of the loop, I don't even know (nor care about) the current haircolor of Billie Ellish, and I am not even sure if I have heard any of her songs, or at least recognize them being hers.

So what is this discussion about? Wondering how come some SCP stories, which apparently are supposed to be as weird as possible, are so weird?

What I learned though is that there are apparently two different freeware "SCP" games made years ago, any idea if they are any good?

Haha, even you didn't know it!

At least I can use my age as an excuse, but you are, what, 11 years old? You should know this trending stuff.
