Cavenagh: Thinking of buying 'Rise of the Triad' just had a look at a let's play, seems fun, also had a few reads about the game, people say there are a few bugs in the game, have these been fixed? reviews are from july 2014.

ElTerprise: I'm not sure if this patch fixes all bugs but the GOG-Version is still missing the 1.5 Patch in comparison to the steam-version.
Thanks for the reply, i'll give it a shot.

all the best

But GOG is speaking of a new technical update in their post. Maybe it IS the newest and long awaited update?

this really sounds like it "Soon, you'll be facing off against your Steam buddies on equal terms and equal footing. ".

Maybe they updated thier post after ElTerprise mentioned patch 1.5, I have a big back catalog of games, by the time I get around to playing it will most prob be on patch 4.3 :P

Cavenagh: snip
I'm pretty sure it was like this from the very beginning. It's probably just a hint at upcoming Galaxy integration, but I'd be surprised if GOG's QA team will end up passing the update without all the bug fixes from 1.5. Who knows, maybe they'll even somehow integrate Steam Workshop support featured in 1.5.

WesleyB: That awesome moment when you click on the deal page to see if there's any discounts on titles you haven't played before, only to find that you own all of them..
I fixed your post.

Calibrus: You don't get a free game! You don't get a free game! Almost everybody doesn't get a free game!
I missed it, but 30,000 is a lot of free copies no matter how many of us showed up too late.

Or it is the multiplayer via galaxy like AVP.

I don't think the part "equal terms" could relate to the Galaxy part alone. I really think that it will be both: the newest update so multiplayer with Galaxy works the same way it does on Steam. At least I hope that this is the way it was meant :)

ZaineH: Anyone miss out on Rise of the Triad?
I did, and I'm annoyed.

I don't want your key.
avatar
ElTerprise: Actually RoTT is now 80% off after the give away ended.
OK, that's at least an excuse. :)

Still you would think they should be able to adjust that when things change.
