I'm way too slow. +1 :).
I check on gog a couple hours after I get up eat breakfast etc, and the freebie's already been over for that long. :(

Pajama: OK, colour me confused. In the announcement GOG says "You get a free game! You get a free game! Everybody gets a free game! " but it seems that the freebies have now all been given out. Surely then everybody does not get a free game or have I missed something? It's been a long day and so that it is entirely possible... :)
Same as you. They are not very clear in the announcement and it seems that people like us need to pay a few bucks to get it. Not so free. I like shooters but it is not the end of the world if I missed this one. Bad wording from GOG however...

If anyone has a spare gift key, I'll be glad to have it. Otherwise, it is not a big loss.

petitmal: It is in the translation of *everybody*

;-)
Silly me, I thought that 'everybody' meant every person - guess my English (as well as the Oxford English dictionary definition) is not as good as we'd thought it was ;)
avatarlostintime: Can there be some clarification to whether the giveaway is over? I can not tell if the system was overloaded and that is why I can not see a giveaway page, or if all 30000 keys are already claimed.

30K keys is simply NOT *Everybody*, as announced...
Thanks for the freebie GOG! :D

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for GOG to use a meme in their promo description. For those curious. "You get a ____! Everybody gets a ____" is a meme.

Welcome!
Yay. it arrived! Thank you, GOG folks! I was among the last 600 (the counter read 5XX when I clicked) and they ran out very shortly afterwards, so I was a bit worried it didn't register anymore or something. Glad to see that was unfounded. =)

GOG has buggy servers and buggy people. Promos end early, but not really. Check PM for great justice.
