50-80% off Darksiders, Rogue Legacy and Titan Souls.

Once upon a time there was a hero. One little hero against the world. Through thick and thin, dungeons and swarms, he presses on and on! Weekly Staff Picks: Final Boss are a selection of four titles with some of the finest, biggest boss fights that await our hero at the end of the dungeon. At 50-80% off, that hero is you.

One Arrow, One Boss, One Shot, One Kill. Titan Souls is a game that focuses entirely on an unforgiving series of quick and ruthless boss fights. You'll have to observe and learn fiendish attack patterns, to spot your opening, and make the shot. You will die a lot - but each time will be a learning experience. It's a simple, challenging-but-fair action game with a name that's no coincidence…
You may not succeed, but you'll make it your business to help your children succeed. Or maybe their children, or perhaps even their children. In Rogue Legacy, each generation of fighters you control will take advantage of everything that their ancestors have learned to delve deeper and deeper into the mysterious castle looming over your village. On your way you'll encounter peculiar bosses including a floating Eyeball, an anthropomorphic flaming ball of fire, a purple-flaming floating skull, and more deadly curiosities.
Finally, there is Darksiders I and II a story of Death and War - the riders of the apocalypse. With a setting like that, you can only imagine the kinds of towering, massive and unholy horrors that you'll face.

Reach the final boss, get up to 80% off, in this week's Weekly Staff Picks. The promo will last until Thursday, August 27, 9:59 AM GMT.

Stream watch:

See two of these titles in action Tuesday, August 25th, at Twitch.tv/GOGcom!

stg83: You forgot Trine 3 in the list and the GOGmix. Voted as well because this is definitely very pertinent information.
You are correct. It seems I skimmed over it. Added to the list.

Grargar: GOGmix now available.
Ta mate. You might want to kick off a tracking thread for it as well, since this thread is ostensibly for the promo and many folks are likely passing it by, thus overlooking the real importance of this issue.
Voted too. Wish the button didn't say 'I like it'

Good News™!

Voted, this is indeed a very important issue, dare we hope that a bluetext will drop in and elaborate on the reason?
Good News™ -.-

Seriously fuck you gog.
Now now, don't restrict yourself the same way they are restricting our gifting ability. :P

Good work, upvoted for great justice.
Nah, guys, what did you expect? It's monday, another week! They haven't done anything for like two days!

The end-of-an-era giveaway is up.

I voted for your GOGmix!

I'm curious if we will get an explanation from GOG for this move. But probably they will keep calm and say nothing. It's their usual strategy since TheEnigmaticT left (I really miss him).

Matruchus: What I don't understand is why gifting from higher priced regions is not possible? Kind off like its done on Steam since they imposed regional restrictions I think.
avatar
blotunga: Because according to gog staff the fraudulent transactions came from higher priced countries mostly. So it's probably a worldwide problem.
Is anyone in a region where gifting isn't disabled? Maybe the 'in your region at this time' language comes from what they implemented for TW3, and it mentions regions even if the ban is worldwide.
Already own the Darksiders series . Money saved .

Grargar: The full list of the affected games is as follows:

1954 Alcatraz
Aarklash: Legacy
Agarest: Generations of War Zero
...
*snip*
What the hell?

I didn't know that so many games here have regional gifting restrictions.
More "good news" from GOG. :(

Thanks for putting up this list.

It isn't regional; it's gifting restrictions. You can't buy any of those games as a gift at all.
