Plans, planes, and planet-wide conquests.

This Weekly Sale is all about planning ahead, so get ready to micromanage, macromanage, lead, build, conquer and watch all of your hard work result in glory or crumble to dust in spectacular fashion.
Then have another go.

Paradox Interactive, Rebellion, and 2K Games have joined forces and their extensive catalogs, mostly featuring great strategy games, are now marching forward looking for a steady hand to guide them to victory. Let's inspect this battalion that is looking to commandeer your gaming time: there's X-Com, Railroad Tycoon, Army Men, Sid Meier's Civilization, BattleZone 98 Redux, Lords of the Realm, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Age of Wonders, and many more!

If you're not in a planning mood but more in a "let's do this!" mood, check out Freedom Force, Hidden & Dangerous, or Sniper: Elite Berlin 1945.

To make things easier for you, we spread out our forces with 2K Games defending the right side and Paradox + Rebellion standing ready to charge from the left.

The Weekly Sale will last until October 16, 10 PM UTC.

eiii: I'm on Linux, I'm used to do that. If someone has tried to run the GOG version of CivCity: Rome with Wine would have been my next question. :) But at least the WineHQ entry looks good.
That was actually meant as a general comment to the folks reading the thread. Sorry for the confusion.
I suppose Linux users may be interested in using this adamhm's script to run Civilization IV on Linux easily.
Yup, still cant buy army men. I wouldn't bring it up if it wasn't an issue, also wouldn't bring it up if I couldn't clearly see that other people who happen to be in more privileged countries not have this issue.

Sigh, this nonsense where south africa and brazil and wherever being left in the dark for little more than petty politics is kindof annoying. Hell i cant even spoof another country on my browser to get it on the sly off of the sale.

Just ask someone, who has access to the games. As far as I know only buying is banned, not redeeming gift codes (:

Does anybody know if the idle workers bug in CivCity: Rome has been fixed or could please check the changelog if the game has been updated lately with a fix for that bug?
