maachubo: Take Enclave as counter example. It's on sale for 60% off, sale price $1.99 USD. Then with the Digital Deluxe Content for $1.99 and Soundtrack for $2.99 the total is $6.97. Vs the Deluxe Edition which is not on sale -- full price $7.97. So there you do get a discount. The game is enough off that the extras are still less than the full price.
