Here's a few gaming deals to make your weekend even better.

This weekend you can battle demonic hordes in Devil Daggers (-50%), solve chilling mysteries in Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut (-90%), meet aliens in Aven Colony (-75%) or embark on a great adventure in Death Road to Canada (-50%). If that's not enough for you, we also have some sweet deals on the Worms series (up to -75%), Myst and other titles from Cyan Worlds (up to -66%), and a few more.

The Weekend Sale runs until April 15, 10PM UTC.
An hour without first comment?
Let's change that.

Edit: Nothing that interests me.
I guess, I own everything I'm interested in already...of course I can't say for sure, since the sale(s) still don't mark my owned games.

The midweek sale is amazing (yet you didn't like that either).

I'll say. If there are no interesting new releases today, I'll probably knock two more games off my wishlist. Or maybe just go all-in and get everything Kindered Spirits. We'll see.

(I don't think I could buy Ys in good faith. I found out with Oath that I just don't have the patience to fight the bosses in that series over and over and over again).

I want to take this opportunity to remind GOG that LUMO is still outdated and missing the latest patch which it received on Steam in 02/2017(!).

https://store.steampowered.com/news/?appids=345480

I already contacted the dev and the publisher to help you with your work in getting the game up to date again so that you have happy customers. Still could probably need a bit help from some blue professionels as well :)

Because it is full of games several Gog customers want at prices several of them are willing to pay?

Let me repeat what has been said to you more than once at that other thread: You don't like that sale, that's fine, just be happy that it fulfills your fellow Gog customers' desires AND helps Gog turn a profit.

Said profit might be the reason you'll see a game you really really want ten months down the road, have you ever thought of that?

So just go play one of the several games in your backlog and ignore that sale. Gog doesn't have to cater specifically to you in detriment of everyone else. You're not the center of the universe.

All Cyan games are on sale, except Myst V... maybe it's a "mystake" ?

I see what you did there ;-)

Indeed. In the past it wasn't unusual for them to discount just some but not all of the series, but this time it looks like everything except Myst V is on sale -- even Obduction, which is a "spiritual successor" on an alien planet.

Summary of Myst prices on Gog [plus a bit]:

Manhole: Masterpiece Edition, The; 1994 3.6/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Inc $5.99 -66% $2.03
[not Myst series; kid's game]

Myst Masterpiece Edition; 1999 4.3/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Inc $5.99 -40% $3.59
[remaster of audio, sound, and 24 bit color vs original 8 bit]

Riven: The Sequel to Myst; 1997 4.6/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Inc $5.99 -40% $3.59

Myst III: Exile; 2001 4.6/5 Presto Studios / Cyan Worlds $14.99 -40% $8.99
[Originally Presto Studios / Ubisoft]

Myst IV: Revelation; 2004 4.3/5 Ubisoft Montreal / Cyan Worlds $14.99 -40% $8.99
[Originally Ubisoft / Ubisoft]

Uru: Complete Chronicles; 2004 4.2/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Worlds $9.99 -40% $5.99

Myst V: End of Ages Limited Edition; 2005 3.9/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Worlds $9.99

realMyst: Masterpiece Edition; 2014 4.2/5 Cyan Worlds / Cyan Worlds $17.99 -40%
$10.79
[New sixth age + extended ending, free-roaming, weather effects, Unity engine]

Obduction; 2016 4.3/5 Cyan Inc / Cyan Inc $29.99 -66 $10.19
["spiritual successor" on alien planet, Unreal engine, Kickstarter]

Firmament; UPCOMING
[announced Mar 1 2018; Kickstarter open until 2019 APRIL 26 (STILL OPEN)]
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1252280491/firmament

Miscellaneous

Pyst; 1996
[not by Cyan, not on gog, parody: island has been vandalized]

Hulu supposedly making tv series since 2015

The last few items are slightly off-topic but potentially interesting.

(Note that there's Cyan Inc. but also "Cyan Worlds", and some other companies have been the devs/pubs in the past, as listed above, all of which has confused me at times)
So... if I would only play one Myst game ever in my lifetime, which one would I buy?
