vicklemos: Thanks, mon ami :P
Go ahead, these games are not regrettable. They're memorable in their own weird way, that's for sure.
I had true fun -and some good time spent- with most of their games. That reminds me that I gotta check properly their "A Valley without Wind" series.

ps: they're classics to me, specially SH and Bionic Dues. And I've played all of these on Linux :P

Splatsch: You finally convinced me :)
Trusting you & Arcen Games. I bought & tried the game, it's very interesting (first time I see a game like this). And as usual, you "feel" it's an Arcen game ^^ (for me it's a good point because I love what they do and their spirit). One of the very good surprise I had is that there is co-op on the same screen ! You can play the full game co-op ! That's really nice ! And the game looks very good ! Thanks for advices :D
Thanks for the kinds words, pal. Glad you liked it.
Maybe we'll play Bionic Dues multiplayer someday. And yep, SH has this same screen gameplay which is rare these days.
Quick question. Should I play Disciples 1 before Disciples 2 or can I jump straight into the second one?

You dont need to play the first one. The second one is much better in many ways.
Must resist buying these : Capitalism Plus , Capitalism 2 , Conquest: Frontier Wars , Enemy Engaged: Apache vs Havoc , Enemy Engaged: Comanche vs Hokum , Flatout , Flatout 2 , O.R.B.: Off-World Resource Base , Space Empires IV Deluxe , Tzar: The Burden of the Crown .
Is ORB any good? Because I read different reviews and they say the games is not really a pearl.

I would be interested in CONQUEST: FRONTIER WARS, but sadly it doesnt work under Win 8.x 64-bit.
Any opinions on Port Royale 2 vs. Patrician 3? They both look pretty neat, but I haven't really played any trade games before ...
Has anybody managed to get Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord running under wine?

It's rated garbage on winehq, but the last entry is almost 2 years old.

If you already have the second one, in your opinion Is there any reason for getting the first one? Is there anything in particular I would be missing?
The promo will last until Tuesday, February 10 at 4:59 PM GMT.
It seems this promo ended already.
Or did I sleep away a day?

Yeah, this happens constantly on gog. They probably again forget to set the timer right on the sale.

Well, not really.

However, you have to judge the game by yourself. Here are some reviews:

First part:

Second part:

Look at gameplay on youtube, etc.

The promo ended on the correct time (5 AM GMT). GOG just made a typo. Like always.

Okay, I'll wait for the next big sale.
I guess Combat Chess won't go away in the meantime.
Support helped me in the past when I missed a promo due to the same glitch.

Thanks for your answers,

Chamb: Small comment from me regarding the inability to go to product pages by clicking on the titles on the list.

It's intentional change (that has nothing to to with tablets and other devices) - we thought that since you have the basic product details visible directly on the page, and there are two links to the product page (title and link to the reviews), taking away the ability to click directly on the list will not be a big deal. There are other factors also that dictated this.

Of course we are always listening to your feedback (thanks for that people!), and we are not ruling out bringing it back. We will be watching few future promos and them make the decision.
Since this is an intentional change (and not a site glitch as I initially thought it to be), the only reason I can see you make it so unintuitive to reach game card pages from the promo is to try to hide them. Why are you fixing to make me like GOG less?
