Reporting doesn't actually report the threads....all it does is if enough people click it that post(or thread, if it's an OP post) will be deleted.

166 spamthreads (admittedly done by three spammers), but one of them was so "productive" that he spammed a new thread every 1.5 minutes, or so.

How hard can it be to filter out this crap just with key words from the title? Or limit the number of post from new accounts? Moderators be sleeping on the job.

I'm afraid it does not resolve the problem. Just look at the main forum page again. I think moderators should escalate the issue and get an option to remove spam threads.
PS. I know I've already mentioned these absurdities, but how is that possible that I cannot post game links in my old threads without 10 minutes of waiting between posts – and new user can create 100 threads minute by minute? Who designed these rules??

The old GOG from 2008. A bunch of nice guys who had the idea to create their own digital store to bring back some old, long forgotten classics. They weren't really professional, but that didn't matter because it was a small niche-thing for just a handful of old farts. The forum (and the wishlist) is still the old mess it always was and no one really knows how it works anymore.

I've been expecting GOG to shutdown this forum and launch a new one, compatible with Galazy and social media. Guess they don't have resources for that.
