It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Leonard03: A couple times during the insomnia sale I have clicked on buy now seen this:
There were certainly still copies left at the time. I'm not sure if its that my click triggered a freebie but all had been given out already or something?
Happened to me a couple times too, and I remember one of them being that particular game. I was also wondering if it would've been a freebie, but either something went wrong, or as you said, all allocated freebies for that game were given out.
EDIT: A lot of people in the sale tracker thread seem to have also had the problem with Freedom Planet, which is the other game I encountered it with. So it does seem to be an issue with specific games only.

Deltafunction: Is it still enabled? Thinking it might be a browser problem, I downloaded Chrome for the first time on this computer (I normally use Firefox 36.0), and I still don't see my "owned" status showing up anywhere on the site.
I also use Firefox 36.0 (vanilla) yet so far I haven't had that problem.
Here is one where the sale had actually ended, it shows the normal price, not the sale price as in the others.

Not everyone is affected, and it doesn't seem to be browser related - I've tested three different ones with vanilla profiles and still have the issues I mentioned earlier on all of them. GOG seems unable to figure out why or how this affects those that it does.
The games I've already owned prior to ImsomniaSale still appears as owned on their respective pages. But the ones that I got at ImsomniaSale doesn't appear as owned.

Thanks, though I already knew that (I read your previous posts regarding the issue). It sure is a weird phenomenon.
I've got it! It's a feature. If your "owned" status doesn't show up, you are a very special person.

If you buy a game that you already own, the site will tell you and you can give it as a gift.

That makes it far more likely that you'll get a freebie than other people whose "owned" status shows up. It's easier to do that than search through the library. Gifting makes you feel good, and with all this grey on grey around here, anything helps. ;)
"Owned" problem here as well.
None of my games that I already own are marked as "owned" anymore (tried and visited quite a few game pages), also when I add an already owned game to the cart and click on checkout, it treats the added game as if it weren't owned.

Furthermore, around the time GoG introduced the French site, my wishlist disappeared completely and I was never able to retrieve it. Gone forever. Had to add the games back myself one by one if I wanted them back on my wishlist.
Also problems with games not showing as owned.
I have not seen this working for ages now. I have tried with Firefox and Chrome and it is exactly the same problem.
I have also tried the Barefoot Essentials script, to try and hide games in the catalog, That also does not work.

It also does not show on checkout, if I already own the game or not. All it does is having a greyed out purchase button, but does not mark in any way which of the product in the list is the culprit.

I have contacted support twice about this, with screenshots etc. And both times they say it should be fixed. But it is seemingly not.

This is disappointing, and I really hope this can be fixed soon. Until then I have to manually search my account inventory before buying anything.

Yeah Im not happy with them. This checkout stuff is bullsht in the middle of a sale. They just keep flashing more and more frickin games that some cant buy, stupid, dumb, and stupid gog.com is lately. I've always been a huge patron of this place, but i own 560 games here and im calling bullsht on this company. So heres a big FU gog.com bite me. See my two middle fingers gog.com yeah . Im not gonna log onto this site for a month, F gog.com, theyve just lost touch and need to fix their pages.

Firek: During huge promos we turn off some personalization features to conserve server resources. This causes some inconvenience, like not seeing if you already own a game before going to checkout, but it's a lot better than the site being unresponsive, coughing up errors etc.

We will re-enable these for the time being, so please let me know if your problems persist after a few minutes. I would suggest refreshing the site (Ctrl+R) just in case.
well, it still does not work =(
so buying games is not fun atm

Today was the first time ever during this promo that the "owned" status worked.

Interestingly, last night my son, on his computer, had the "owned" status working and I didn't. We were both working off the same cable modem and router. That kind of rules out a regional issue.

He has far less games than I do. I'm wondering if that has something to do with it?

Started to work for me now as well. I am happy about that :) First time since the new website layout went online.
I will keep an eye on it though.
