Sounds interesting... I haven't played many THQ games, but some of the titles sounds interesting. I can only hope to see some good games come out.

GioVio123: A branch of THQ owns something....
They still exist.....
I thought they went bankrupt....Well, I remember them being bought....
Yeah. By Nordic. Hence the whole "THQ Nordic" thing. Nordic bought 'em out and took on the THQ name.
i played the novalogic collection games on steam and they were not really that great, the flying games f-16 and mig 29 was alright but the delta force series was bad especially the later games, not sure which one of these is worth reviving.

The game and the graphics haven't aged well at all.

I don't see how how the games hold up says anything about the potential of reviving the series. Delta Force used to be a strong bestselling franchise which was defined by comparably high realism and missions taking place on large landscapes and offering a lot of tactical freedom. It would be a pretty good platform for a new series of tactical shooters that pays tribute to some of the original hallmark features of the series, much like how Ghost Recon has reinvented itself several times already. The question is if THQ Nordic has the ambitions and resources to do this right.

Oh yeah. I always wonder how the games played in multiplayer. I presume that the player with the highest screen resolution always automatically won.

Presumably if you went too high your framerate tanked, creating a delicious balancing act of image quality vs performance?

I liked the fact that you had to consider distance, bullet speed and trajectory in Delta Force games. With most modern sniper games, you seem to just aim the scope at the head for a head shot.

It was funny seeing a pixel shadow of an enemy showing through a wall and shooting them with a Barret though.
Lots of good memories with delta force, i liked it how you had to plan a lot as one hit meant death.
More flight sims? Sweet, my flight joystick will continue to get a workout coming off of my completion of Wing Commander and Descent.
Guys, is it possible for the Delta Force games to release on GOG this week, or do we need to wait some time.I am asking this because the product pages on Steam for said games have already changed.THQ Nordic is listed as publisher, which is really fast on their side.I just want to buy these gems as soon as possible :).Cheers

Highly unlikely, unless Nordic had started negotiations before finalizing the purchase. I'd say a month as minimum time to wait, maybe even more, depending on other factors.
If they do decided to bring the old titles here, I would be surprised if it was this year. Putting each game through QA, especially the Windows ones like Tachyon, will take a while - there's only so many working weeks left.
i believe some of the later delta force games had nasty activation online before it even let you play the single player , you had to create a account on novalogic they would have cut all that out before the gog release
