aluinie: Great news glad more classic games have been saved from just disappearing.
Or will be entering rights Hell and Limbo if THQ Nordiq ever goes away. I seriously hate the way copyright laws work.
I would love a new Delta Force game, I loved the Black Hawk Down game, and the Team Sabre expansion, the older ones were fun as well, but I feel like the Extreme-games were a bit shit. I am definitely going to keep tabs on this story. Thanks for sharing.
Seeing some old Delta Force games here would be nice. Even if they haven't aged like fine wine.

DClements: Still, I do remember playing it through twice, just to experience the different storylines.
Really? With no cheating? I remember last battle was...HARD! I tried several times beat it but failed. Used some codes to see ending.

Hopefully Taychon made here and I'll try to beat it properly (this time working for corps)
YES! We need Delta Force 1 and 2 at GOG. I'd play the hell out of em since they were my 1st FPS games i've had good memories of.
Now these are some really exciting news indeed.I fondly remember the old days when Delta Force was top gun in the FPS genre, and only one dude in the whole neighbourhood had a PC capable of running them, and he had no dial up.... :D.I just wish that THQ Nordic fix the games up for modern OS's and rerelease them all at once in a complete package.I would flip my poop if they release them one by one every 3-6 months if anybody understands me ;).Cheers

Delta Force DRM-Free Collection would be awesome.

No, I didn't use cheats. I really can't remember it much at all, but I think destroying certain sub-systems helped a lot. Heck, I really want to play it again now!

deja65:
Back in day only one guy in my neighbour had finished Delta Force.
Kids used to ask him to clear missions.

;o)
It's just after lunch and I'm apparently not yet entirely awake despite having been at work for a few hours already. I read that as "your neck gives it away".
So we might get Tachyon: The Fringe here? I kept meaning to email Novalogic throughout the years about it since their Steam page just seemed so sad.
Incidentally I played through the entire Delta-Force series this year up to Xtreme. The series suffers from the same curse as the Star Trek film series, just the other way around.

Delta Force - Awesome
Delta Force 2 - Meh
Delta Force: Land Warrior - Great
Delta Force: Task Force Dagger - Awful
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down - Awesome
Delta Force Xtreme - Atrocious

I haven't played Xtreme 2 but from what I understand it's the Star Trek: Nemesis of the Delta Force series and caused the first time two consecutive games in the series were utter garbage.

Anyway, I really hope this means that we'll get Comanche CD Special Edition on GOG (or whatever the ultimate edition of Comanche 1 was called). It's pretty hard to find a copy in Europe, especially at a sensible price. It's also absent from legally questionable sites. I did find multiple copies on Ebay but only from American sellers who won't send it to Poland.

What does GOG need with a starship?
A modern day update to the Joint Operation games would give the Arma series some proper competition.

They need to expand their business beyond Earth, they would do well to get there and build up brand recognition before Steam does so as the latter already have the Earth market cornered.
