IronArcturus: So is the "Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae" release related to GEICO somehow?
Nope. We still got Thursday to look forward to.

I wonder if it's going to be either Croc or Gex. I've been reading a lot about those games in this forum.
As I said over here

Moto Racer 15th Anniversary Edition is a thing - A thing missing from GOG
I guess it *could* be that given that Geico also insure bikes (I assume) and 15th anniversary / 15 mins based slogan...

That's a good point. I find it disappointing but I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up for Gex. :P

Wha? Don't worry, it probably isn't going to be Moto Racer - I still think Gex is probably most likely!

Well for me, it's the pattern of not having any "big" publisher's games in many months, and Gex is owned by Square Enix, so while I certainly want to think it's Gex, I should know better. ;)

Which publisher owns the Croc series?

Looks like Croc is owned by Fox Interactive.

"In March 2003, Fox Interactive Inc. was acquired by Vivendi Universal Games. In 2006, Fox Interactive went out of business." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_Interactive

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivendi_Games is now Activision.

It's possible that, unfortunately, Croc is in a similar position to NOLF, since both were published by Fox Interactive.

And yet there are quite a few Activision games on GOG. I don't understand why they won't release any more. :-/

That's a shame to hear.

Nobody can say with any certainty why. Still, if tfishell is correct and Croc's rights are in a mess similar to NOLF, then even if Activision was still bringing games here, they would probably not be able to bring Croc.
Gex: Enter the Gecko would be interesting.

I still wish GOG could get a deal with Gearbox so we could finally get Homeworld on GOG.
