It's always nice when one of the big publishers remembers GOG.
I'd definitely say it was Hitman: Contracts considering he directly mentions legal documents and 47 - and would be a really big deal considering Hitman: Contracts was taken down from Steam due to some sort of music issue.

Considering the blood though, it could also be Hitman: Blood Money or maybe (maybe being a long shot) Hitman: Absolution as well. Any of these games would be cool to have though, so hopefully the game release next week really is one of the Hitman games not on here yet.

Now if only Disney and Take-Two would get to know GOG.com...

jigrou: yep seems to be a Hitman Game contracts by the sound of it

tfishell: Holy cow, finally another "big publisher" game!

Glad to see it's finally showing up on GOG. I assume Steam had a period of exclusivity.
[EDIT: Nevermind, it's been back on there since January 2014] Steam doesn't even have Contracts available for sale anymore, so this would be super cool if it came back to GOG.com first :)

Are you sure? If I go to the site and write Human Contracts it has a price tag and I'm able to add it to my shopping cart.

Yeah they fixed the music legal issue, so it went back up on Steam a few months back, I'm pretty sure.

cmdr_flashheart: Cool beans, I don't have Contracts :D

cmdr_flashheart: Well, GOG already has two Hitman games, so it was a matter time, I guess :]
Yeah but it's been bert-ferkin' forever since we've seen a classic release from Square Enix, Ubisoft, Activision, Atari - most of the publishers I consider "big", EA aside. I was bloody worried there for a few months.

Maybe the regional pricing issue really screwed things up for a bit, I dunno.

Whoops! I had just checked for it and I assumed it wasn't back on there since it wasn't a part of the Hitman games collection. I remember the game was removed from sale for a bit due to some issue or another, but it looks like it came back in January this year. Nevermind.

Well, besides Atari which (if I remember correctly) went bankrupt recently, I'm also surprised we haven't seen more titles from Ubisoft and Activision - where's SC: Chaos Theory, Rogue Spear, SWAT 4 and its expansion, etc.?

I really hope this brings the complete Hitman collection here.

Yeah same here still waiting for Vampire Bloodlines come on Activision.
Speaking of Square Enix I hope GOG is bloody willing to try to get some of Core Design's classics - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_Design#Games_developed_and_published

Heimdall 1&2
Rick Dangerous 1&2
Universe
Fighting Force

... although Wikipedia is claiming Eidos owns the "brand, intellectual property" whereas Rebellion owns the "staff, assets" ...

So whatever the butt that means.

If it is both games then that would complete the Hitman collection. I have them on disk but look forward to seeing them here.

Excellent! Already own the first two here, but I have never played Contracts, and used to have Blood Money on PS2 back in the day. If either or both of them get released here, it would be an instabuy!
Let's hope contracts comes with the full in-game soundtrack

The true victory will be if they drop the DRM for the newest one but that's probably too much to ask...

nadenitza: Let's hope contracts comes with the full in-game soundtrack
Unlikely since the music is being sold separately - http://www.amazon.com/Hitman-Contracts-Soundtrack-Jesper-Kyd/dp/B003LXXXUM/ref=tmm_other_meta_binding_title_0/188-4177032-2822856 -

More realistic would be a soundtrack sample.
If next week ends up being both Contracts and Blood Money, great, but seeing there tends to be blood amongst the aftermath of an assassination "contract", generally speaking (not from experience surprisingly!), I can easily just see Contracts come out. It's also nearly ten years old now or older, versus Blood Money's 2006. Though I can only assume that's next :)
