A close look into the creation of the celebrated series.

The celebrations for the 10-year Anniversary of The Witcher are well underway and today we're featuring the six-episode documentary put together by No Clip for the occasion. It's a journey from the early days of CD PROJEKT RED, through the development of Assassins of Kings, then the time when they started building The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and of course everything that followed. It's a rather fascinating watch, complete with beautiful shots of Warsaw, interviews, anecdotes, insights, and behind-the-scenes footage (spoiler: a wild snowboarding Geralt appears).

Episode 1: The Story of CD Projekt

Episode 2: Remembering the Witcher 1 and 2

Episode 3: Designing The World of the Witcher 3

Episode 4: The Quests of the Wild Hunt

Episode 5: Found in Translation

Episode 6: Devil's in the Detail
Awesome serios of well made videos about the making of the witcher series. Makes me even more thankfull for the developer sacrificing time and resources into the development process.

shmerl: Do they explain what happened to the Linux version in those videos?
They moved to Seattle and started a band.
wow
now we just need a snowboarding Geralt DLC for fulfilling celebrations :D
For me without a double, Witcher3 + all the expansions = greatest role-playing game of all times!

I have been gaming since the late 80's and played quite a few RPGs since then. I have never ever replayed an RPG before, not even PS:T or Baldur's gate series. Witcher 3 however, I have already replayed 3 times and still I don't have enough! Currently playing it with my wife, 4th time; so she can experience this great work of art. Witcher 3 ruined playing RPGs for me, that's how good Witcher 3 is for me! All other RPGs just seem so average, I just can't get excited about them....ever since I finished first play-through of Witcher 3.

I got the PS4 release edition, then I got the PS4 game of the year edition as well as PC release version and I bought all the expansions. GOG gifted me the Game of the Year edition, thank you for that great gesture GOG! Listening to the Witcher 3 FLAC as I type this, thank you CDProject for such an incredible game. I hope there is witcher 4 coming some day, or a game in the witcher universe.

Thank you and Happy 10th Anniversary The Witcher series!

Fantastic stuff.

Coming from a game-sharing background, GoG makes SOOOoooooo much more sense now.
They have a unique perspective of the game market and are more realistic than the big publishers.

I love GoG and this just increases my level of respect for what these people have gone through to get here.
It's fantastic to hear when success is deserved.

CD PROJEKT RED, you are doing fantastic stuff, keep it up.
