p3rox: If anyone wants a free Deponia Steam key to use with Connect, hit me with a pm.
avatar
supplementscene: How does that work unless you're linking your account to theirs? Sounds risky
What? Nothing risky or strange here:

1) p3rox sends you a Steam key
2) You activate it on your Steam account
3) You reddem your GOG copy of the game on your GOG account, which you have previously Connected™ with your Steam account

Thanks for updating the thread with the new batch of games; I've been busy today, so I haven't checked the store 'til now. :)

Humm Connect worked when the promo launched, games added, yay.

Then I redeemed some steam keys, refresh, f5, nay.

Hummm
And I say hummmmmm
And hummmmm ;p
Oh there they are. Yay thanks :)

Yeah, they take a few hours to recognize.. and usually right after you contacted support.
I have Earth 2150 Trilogy, Earth 2150 Lost Souls, and Earth 2150 The Moon Project on Steam. That's the only one connect isn't finding.

I've never been able to get the Steam version to run (main game menu loads but cannot actually start playing a game) so I was hoping the GOG version would work better than Steam, as GOG's versions often do. But connect isn't seeing it so I don't know what to do.

It often takes while before it work for many people. I don't have much more advice than what is given in the following post however:

MightyPinecone: Make sure that your Steam profile is public, otherwise GOG won't be able to see which games you have. If you've done that try hitting the 'Refresh' button on the Connect page.

If it still won't recognise the game you can try bringing up your problem in the Introducing GOG Connect thread as it seems that GOG employees (called 'blues' as the text in their replies is blue) occasionally visits that thread (they never visit this thread as far as I know). You could also look for a thread about such a problem or create one yourself; as long as the issue is clear in the title you MIGHT get visited by a blue, or they may at least take notice. The safest bet though, is to send in a support ticket, they will likely want a link to your Steam profile so that they can manually check that you own the game.

fables22: All of the above is a good shout. Do try and refresh your library and check the GOG connect thread linked above, and if you've still not got any luck, send a support ticket. Give them a couple hours though :)
Another game has been added to the connect list:

War for the Overworld

War for the Overworld
Just to expand upon this:

If you backed War for the Overworld on Kickstarter or purchased via one of the Humble widgets on our website before the GOG release, you are entitled to a free GOG key for whatever you purchased (be it the game, DLC, or both).

See this FAQ for more info.

Thanks to both of you for the info!
This has probably been asked before but it's taking several days for gog connect to refresh and I'm still waiting. There's two gog-connectable games I got since the current batch of games started.

What happens if gog connect doesn't refresh before the current batch of games expires? If I contact support, can they still give those or do you just miss out despite having them before they expire?

I'm in the same situation as you. A reply from a blue would be appreciated.

I can't give any official answer, but though it says that it might take days to refresh, it seemed to only take a few seconds when I did so just now. You are talking about using the refresh button on the connect page, right? If it hasn't worked for you for days I would contact support.
Torchlight and torchlight 2 are currently available on GOG Connect.
