A completely minor issue, but since Palestine's screenshot happens to show it, it has always annoyed me that "orders in progress" doesn't begin with a capital letter like the rest of the choices in that menu.

Palestine: Some additional observations related to the new dark mode:

Orders History drop-down menu options check marks are invisible.

Also, the light background and text of the gifter/giftee drop-down menu clash with the dark theme. For certain users (with less than optimal visual acuity), the text might be considered illegible.
And on the flip side, in Light mode, certain text prompts (like achievement blurbs) are almost unreadable, being off-white on light-grey backdrop.

Indeed. Why did they see a need to change that from how it was?

My guess would be they adjusted it for visibility in dark mode, and it just so happens the text styling in this prompt is shared between the modes.

That's a rotten way to go about it then. When I saw the announcement I initially meant to say that options are always good but make sure you won't leave the light mode behind or mess it up in any way, but when I saw the options in the menu, with light and dark there, I assumed they were treated equally and moved on.

GOG, if you are reading this, please please never ever change your forum software. Yes, it's old and limited and broken, but it's better than anything that will come instead.
Git Gud promo twice in the promos list on the front page

gogtrial34987: Starting yesterday morning, the product API occasionally and intermittently contains empty names for individual goodies (for _embedded->bonuses).
I haven't seen this in some ~60 hours, so am considering this 'fixed'.

Urgh. This is recurring for the same games. >.< I suspect some kind of speed optimization which goes too fast - hypothesis: the JSON response is assembled asynchronously, but returned before certain fields are filled in? (Either due to a timeout, or due to those fields being skipped in the check if the document is good to return.) And then during a later request, the information is cached, so returns swiftly enough to be included - but that cache has a short expiry?

2025-08-19 ~18:23 UTC: 1917711239 had manuals as an empty string. A check 20 minutes later gave the correct "manual".
2025-08-22 ~02:03 UTC: 1917711239 had manuals as an empty string.
(timestamps are for processing, not for retrieval; if it'd be helpful, I could dig up the exact retrieval times)

I didn't do a thorough check, so this could be wrong, but the failing fields always seem to be those with 'generic' content (in this example: the manuals field "manual", but not not game add-ons field "Jazz Jackrabbit 2 with JJ2+") - are those names missing in the data store, and inserted on the fly?
