There's something odd going on with the latest newspost as well. They seem to have found a new way of breaking the forum themselves, by misaligning the start and end tags for italics and URLs respectively. The result is that all text for the rest of the page, including the posts after the OP, are now in italics.

Let me see if I can reproduce it here:

That's the specific line from the news post that seemed to break it. Let me see if it works with bold text as well:

Right, someone else post something, anything, as normal text with no formatting, links or anything.

Yeah, I've noticed it too... italics and bold tags seem to expand without limit in unfathomable weirdness.

I've always known that using italics is way more powerful than going full bold :P. All things aside, I really hope we'll get a new or revamped forum some day. This place really needs a fresh coat of paint.

There, let's get back to normal now... or not. Crap, you broke it :D. I give up, I just can't fix it.

And now we're all stuck with italics until the next page is generated... it goes all the way down to the footer. Oh man. Last one to find a blue text exploit to make us all look like GOG staff is a rotten egg :P.

It's fixed already for me (20 posts a page I think).

I think not abusing italics is the way to go... for example muntdefems post is in italics but hasn't effected the rest of the page.
