VanishedOne: I just met the Atlas bear a few times...
I met Theodore too ...GOG is so predictable -_-

ElTerprise: I don't get forum notifications either...
I don't think that anyone does anymore. And I'm not getting Chat notifications either - good luck finding who messaged one!

I guess we should be grateful that we can at least still post...

Yep. The search game forum appears to have vanished, and even if you try to click the view all button at the bottom you either get a 404 error or "nothing" happens.

There is no way to manually find the Witcher 3 forums now as it does not seem to list.
I can still get to it as I have posts in there but it is most odd.

I am sure GOG are on it. :)
And now the chat system is misbehaving too - spinning, spinning, spinning...

Why do I get blamed for everything that goes wrong? ;-)

You can still get to game specific forums as long as you have the game in your library. Click on the game, then on more and you'll find a button saying FORUM. Doesn't help anyone coming here that don't have a game on GOG though.

Very good point there yes. This will help in the interim whilst they fix it. I also noticed games currently on offer don't show up as bought when you have them already in your library. The current set for sale I have and the system does not warm me they are owned......... eeekk
The Search bar for the Sub-forums is back and the show all forums button is also working again.

HypersomniacLive: Is anyone else missing the search button on the forum?
Yessir. Also I noticed that a long time ago you could search for someone's nickname and find posts they made + replies to them but at some point it started only returning replies to them that quoted their nick and no visible way to search for posts they made. Quite often GOG giveaway hosters and others will search for someone's nickname to see what they've posted and whether they are a troll or not, whether they rip people off or scam or do other anti-social behaviours etc. before allowing them to enter a giveaway or for some other purpose, but now it is next to impossible to do that.

Er... well... it is impossible since search is completely gone now. :) I wonder what the next thing they'll remove and send people into a rage will be LOL

I know, they should remove the option to change the number of forum posts per page and hard code it to something like 3 posts per page and then change the pagination controls to just have prev+next but no ability to jump thorugh them so you have to click through every page. That'd make everything simpler, everyone will love it and it'll reduce the load on the servers improving the experience! :)

Crap, I hope I didn't give them any ideas just now. :)
I don't think it just broke, but this is my first time trying to use it.

The fancy new chat option is virtually unusable on my android phone.

Every time I try and view a received message, it tries to reply to the message, and opens the keyboard and zooms the message out of view.

This may be some ignorance on my part, I haven't tried the chat on a desktop yet, so I'm not exactly sure how it should work. In its current state, it isn't too mobile friendly.

I remember that when the new, mobile-friendly site design was unveiled, people started suggesting that the way the top navbar's drop-downs work isn't actually suitable for touchscreens, so that wouldn't be a surprise. Sharing code/assets with the Galaxy client appears to be the current design priority.

Edit: oh, and reply notification flags are back... and mine seem determined to stay put now.

ATM the 'find a specific forum' is back, and seems to be working.

Yay!
(Not the website, but breakage-tracking-related.)

The staff have shown their appreciation of the time people put into writing Galaxy bug reports by closing loads of tickets with the words 'Client version out of date. Please download newer version from www.gog.com/galaxy and if the issue is still there, create new ticket.'

I can see the logic of doing this for bugs like the sporadic crash-on-exit one, but they've even done it to the ticket about Galaxy installing a completely different and broken version of Arcanum.exe compared to the installer. You'd think someone at GOG would be in a position to find out whether it was still doing that...
