justanoldgamer: I hate to tell you this but you're in Australia. That yellow bird you're holding is probably both poisonous and venomous. You'll probably get a horrible rash just from touching it.
Yes,yes I know I'm in Australia somewhere....I think...

Emachine9643: I have a similar question, if there is an afterlife do we choose to come down here and do it all over again knowing that some are going to have bad experiences and if so why bother? is it for a bigger reason? Also lets say its all nirvana and stuff there, do we get bored?
Eternity is a mere moment, just long enough for a joke.
I like to think that. That eternity is not wondering about what was and what will be but only what is now.

Other than that, why not bother? Hope springs eternal. You know you can have bad experiences. Maybe you know most people actually do. But you also know that you can have great experiences. They never do make up for the terrible ones but they have just as much a right to be and be experienced.

... Man, I was trying to make sense here but now I'm just laughing at myself for sounding like an idiot. :D
Still, my question hasn't been answered.

Crackpot.756: I was wondering, if there is a life after death, an eternity even ... If a baby dies, does it get to spend eternity as a baby or is it allowed to grow up enough to at least understand what's going on? Question for religious and spiritual people, I suppose.
I think we do the same thing over again. Like a continuous loop. Depending on what choices we make life might go different or it might go the same. Just a thought.

I kinda get what your saying I think in a way if you do come back its.... like life/god is experiencing itself in every way possible. Simplest way I can explain it.

Oddly enough, I'm reminded of this short story I've stumbled across a while ago.

On another note, I wasn't even trying to be all philosophical with my initial question, I was really wondering about the baby thing.
since a sausage in a bun is called hot dog, which grocerie could one call hot cat?

Crackpot.756:
Honestly I would try contacting a priest or something..... I don't have a clue or a vague idea if they would grow up.

There's the common (christian) belief that dead babies become angels. There again, this belief is usually held by the most ravenous "abortion is murder" militants who argue that embryos are babies. So, manufacturing angels is not good (leads to angel deflation or something). The whole thing is related to the belief that children have a pure soul unsoiled by sin (ask Carrie's mum).

However, ghosts are usually represented as humans-at-the-moment-of-their-death. Well, a bit before (pop culture likes gruesome mangled ghosts with oozing wounds, but traditional ghosts are in pristine condition), but still : a ghost's look will hint at the age at which death occured. A dead child's ghost will look as a child forever, and an old wrinkled beaded ghost is not a ghost who has haunted the castle for too long, but the ghost of an occupant who was aged when he died.

So. There. Probably super helpful. Anyway. Question of mine.

It's hot. I'm like "oooh, i'm pretty sure that android shops offer fan apps". Checking and yup, humans don't disappoint : a dozen of "refreshing fan" apps. Full with on/off button and different power levels. Okay so far.

But then the apps user comments.

Are... are all these "LAME ! IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK ! IT WAS A SCAM !!" comments part of the joke, or are people truly... i mean... are they... is it... wut ?

I've got this one.
Yes, people are really that stupid.

Easy, next question?
;)
I think I've missed something: who's Ricky?
Is his constant mention some kind of friends request-related joke?

You got it. I don't remember if the poster was called Ricky or if he wanted Ricky to friend him but the thread quickly filled up with post about Ricky.
What is "try-hard" gaming? And who is a try-hard gamer?

Very interesting notion. Thanks for the link.

Roxolani: What is "try-hard" gaming? And who is a try-hard gamer?
Urban dictionary says " try-hard" (try-hard gamer) refers to
DEFINITION 1

A person who puts a large amount of effort into achieving a certain image, or counter-image, to the point where it is obviously contrived. Rather than achieving an image through genuine personality, the try-hard consciously attempts to fit a certain style through deliberate imitation, forced style, or scripted behavior. That is to say, he/she is trying hard to create an image.

Examples: An affluent, suburban dweller who makes great efforts to cover himself in tattoos and piercings; try-hard.

A person who wears certain items of clothing for the express intention of appearing "non-conformist", and flaunts it; try-hard.

Someone who purchases a motorcycle only to appear as a "bad-boy" and not because they like riding bikes; try-hard.

A person who shuns certain genres or styles of music or art simply because it does not fit his self-image, or the image he wants to portray; try-hard. "
-------------------------------
So I'd guess that a try-hard gamer in this sense would be attempting to create a certain image (perhaps with great effort) rather than being themselves online or playing games purely because they like them ?
------------------------------------

DEFINITION 2 (Gaming ref)

Tryhard
1. A face-saving insult used by someone who is feeling inadequate. Basically accuses anyone who is better than them at anything of putting in effort. Doubles as an excuse for sucking by implying lack of effort on the speaker's part.

2. An insult blatantly misused by 13-year-old kiddies in online gaming who, ironically, try very hard to win themselves and take it too seriously when they lose.

3. Someone who tries too hard to fit in. Easy to spot online because of their constant use of trendy internet slang such as "fail", "cool story bro", and "tryhard".

DEFINITION 6 (Gaming related)
try hard
In online video games, it is that guy who is giving it 110% all the time because winning and/or having a high kill/death ratio is more important than just having fun. Try hards are most common in games like Halo or Call of Duty and are frequently seen yelling at their teammates for dying a lot.

What means when you divide something by zero and the calculator gives you 'NAN'. Some was giving 'INF' which stood for infinity but since that's misleading and wrong later was changed to 'E' which means something really huge, also a wrong answer and then I see that 'NAN', so where that came from?
