Alibaba... I've tried a few products from them, unhappy with all of them.

If they actually got decent hardware then perhaps it might make a comeback and eventually come back to the US again when there's content and people want really cheap systems, but if the hardware is crap then it's going to die more completely and be labeled a total fraud.

I'd honestly like to try one, but I fear doing so will make me want to help kill it off. It just seems... cheap.

ouya wound down and was sold to razer inc who discontinued the console almost exactly a year ago on 27 july 2015

so no it didnt fare any better in china

but wait !
its not entirely dead yet ( oh for god's sake ) the developer team behind the ouya joined the sofware team fo razer to develop their own game platform the forge tv

and nothing can go wrong with that
and nothing at all was learned ...HOORAY !
