Hum... interesting. Makes me wonder how robust was their entity/actor programing in this game, to allow any of them to replace each other so seamlessly. A bit more work and they could probably had Deathadder as a secret playable character legitimately.

Still, I remember playing this version at an uncle's house back in the late 90's, whoever sold him his PC and set it up, added it, Prince of Persia 2 and Flashback as courtesy. There were probably other games as well, I just to remember any others.

I finished it only once, because of the limited continues and the extra stage at the end, after the arcade regular final stage.

kusumahendra: I played dos version of golden Axe when I was a kid and found something weird. On my 8088 pc, somewhere on a stage after some villagers run away, two Giants appeared.

I brought my copy to my friend's house and played it there on a better pc. At the same place those two Giants were replaced by 4/5 smaller enemies.

I find it interesting that the game seems to detect cpu and adjust the enemies accordingly
Interesting. I had no idea it that. Honestly, you can tell the porting team did the best job they could with this game. Sure it has its flaws, but it's an overall solid port

Indeed, I'd love to have seen them add extras like that. Ah well!

It's one of those classic SEGA arcades that I'd love to see receive the same treatment as the Genesis games that are being officially emulated on the PC. Or at least get a decent remake.

Also, I just noticed that I bizarrely put a "to" instead of a "don't" in my post above: " I just to remember any others." should have been " I just don't remember any others."
