LeonardoCornejo: Actually while I still use the term "cuck" Lately I have grown less fond of it since I feel actual cucks are a lot less vile and less pathetic than those we call cucks.
avatar
GabesterOne: Understandable, as I a man can give pity to males who have degrade them selves to such low levels to try 'amend' of his evil man ways and culture to a woman, by letting her fuck other men freely. And it is true that actual cucks are less vile than what we call cucks, because SJW's and Journalist shills don't want to have a dicussion or debate. They rather just shut us down and funnel use through less popular threads, because they don't having more people with our stance of anti SJW's, than the amount of support for SJW around.
I have grown to wonder if SJW is the right term too. Why? Because it seems incomplete. It does not describe their true essence. All terms are functional, but if we call them for what their basic nature is, then they are bullies. That is what they always were. Remember early in the GamerGate controversy they made the #BringBackBullying thing, they were the bullies who mocked nerds in elementary and high school but then realized nerds grew trendy because of media such as The Big Bang Theory, and now they want to be nerds to be trend but deep inside they still remain as bullies.

pearnon: Don't bother. As long as you're opposed to The Narrative, you're literally Hitler and anything you say is to be decried, rebuked and silenced at all costs. It doesn't matter how you speak or what you say, so you may as well call a spade a spade, especially when the word is so effective and reflective of the reality it's addressing. Language is power, after all, and it's important to have the means with which to articulate concepts.

I get where you're coming from. I really do. I was also brought up on reaching compromises and finding common ground. But this is a cultural war with an uncompromising, relentless enemy who will (understandably) not relinquish its hold willingly or via diplomacy and reasoned discourse, and pearl-clutching of the "that's beneath us" variety will essentially amount to losing with dignity in the end.
just questioning the narrative gets many declared as "Gators" so it's not even "opposing" but rather "not proclaiming it as the one truth"

I get where you're coming from as well, I was brought up with those values as well

Problem is the SJW's are bullies, but not the typical jocks that picks on the uncool geek. More like bossy (lol dey hurt that word so much even though it describes them) geeks who want's to control everyones view on society, by shaming others and trying to be a victim all the time. So guess we can call em Stupid Jacking Wieners/Whiners?

I just watched a video from Gaijin Goombah. He might claim to not want to take a side, but the more he speaks on matters of free speech, artistic freedom, and claims of "cultural appropriation" the more it looks as if he grows real tired of SJWs in general. And the comments indicate the audience hates them.

With respect, I disagree; you're no more likely to change the minds of those you oppose than they are yours regardless of the words you use. There are plenty of reasonable people out there who read through these types of threads and don't participate, though, and they're the ones you're trying to win over. Getting frustrated and falling back on the same kinds of petty insults your opposition uses only undermines your chances of convincing these onlookers that you're in the right.

Back in 2008 or so, I was at a political convention for a class I was taking. There were lots of crazy sights (including a few crazies with signs about how birdwatching was voyeurism and "bird porn"—still absolutely amazing to think about), but the ones that stuck out the most were the anti-gay-marriage and pro-gay-marriage groups. The antis were screaming at the top of their lungs at anyone who had the gall to question their points until their faces were red. The pros were chanting peacefully and had balloons. Who do you think was the more appealing group to someone just walking around? Point being, whenever you're facing divisive rhetoric, continuing to treat people decently—even those who would never in a million years reciprocate—is pretty much winning by default.

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

I think I get your point. You are talking about using diplomacy as a mean to make outsiders understand our point of view instead of scaring them by behaving just as the opposing side behaves. Yes. I get your point. I however think we tend to use such rude terms because we lack better terms to call the opposing side since they literally take away from others anything they can get close to, even language.
avatar
227: Can we not?

Just saying, I've seen that thrown around a lot in the past couple months, and any point that's trying to be communicated is instantly undermined by how juvenile the insult is. That kind of bridge-burning internet machismo is below everyone here and useless for anything apart from making everyone look bad.

This man gets it. So no, there can no longer be any pussy-footing around topics of interest, or people's precious feelings. Regressives made this mess, blame them.

Blaming / insulting the regressive will not help the situation, except making oneself feel good.

It will make reasonable people think the anti PC is as bad as PC group.

People can fight this cultural war by pointing out the flaws of PC group without resorting to insults.
Of course we cannot change the indoctrinated PC minds even we are polite about it, we are not interested in them, we should be changing the mind of reasonable people, and they response better to politeness.

If we give out perfectly reasonable statement, but serve it up with insults, it just leave us open to attack on our characters. And the opposition don't need to address our perfectly valid statement

It is not about compromising.with illogical people, it is about leaving no openings to attacks and the other side is forced to address our perfectly valid argument or risk looking like a fool calling us racist / sexist / misogynist over valid argument.. When reasonable people see that, the PC narrative cracks more.

In my opinion, insulting the indoctrinated people serves little but shooting oneself in the foot. One cannot win the cultural war by insults, but it help the enemy more. We are seeing more and more people rejecting the narrative thanks to indoctrinated people acting like a fool and acting irrationally. We should not follow their mistake.

On topic of the bioware forums closing down soon.

Not long ago ..
bioware /EA shut down the vault and social file hosting.
Those were the place where 99.9% of mods were hosted for older games like Neverwinter nights 1 and 2

Lot of content was saved but huge majority lost..

HOLY .... you are the biggest Non-Sjw ... SJW I EVER SEEN

Next you going to be asking for safe spaces from "outsiders" and will need some "help over here" to quiet everyone else.

I thought it was just when you were sticking up for ERAM the guy that repeats "close the gamergate thread" as he cries someone said his daughter hawt and they wanted her or something..

SMH,
I think the first step is defining SJW and than "check your priviledge" .... dawg.

Unless I've missed something, LeonardoCornejo's point is that we don't don't have an accurate descriptive term we can use for the other side of this "cultural war that they don't find "offensive" A point I myself have asked about as well not to long ago in this very thread.

a couple of terms they love for themselves...

Liberal: How liberating is it to take everyone's rights away?
Progressive: Were the times of the "Jim Crow" laws so progressive that we should bring it back, here in America?

How does this even happen? Who actually spends their time trying to convince people in the government to act like helicopter parents? Is the news media heavily anti-gaming or something in Germany?

United States gets its fair share too...

Don't forget united states is the one that spread/forced other countries to outlaw all drugs while
allowing pharamicials to sell the same thing in pill forms...

Meth illegal?
Just get a doctor to give you Desoxyn.

Herion illegal?
Buy our morphine/oxycondone only $999.99 per pill

That stuff use to be cheap to buy at over the counter drug stores...
Sure you had drug addicts like you still have today.

Not to mention United States outlawing/trying to outlaw super sized food and soda.

Cocaine is used to stop nose bleeds in ER's and Booze is given to you if you swallow antifreeze.
Don't look at your medical bills though for the bag of salt water (saline) you only pay 100$

How has SJW's got away with it?
The same reason half of society has degraded...

It's because feminism got into government. Simple as that. Remember feminists despise anything men could like, including sexy anime girls. I am glad I live in El Mexico right now, we a re a digital black hole and nothing digital is illegal to own. I bet if feminists are not brought down you could be put in jail for having a copy of Hyperdimension Neptunia soon.
