Friends! If any of you are playing TESO on the European PC megaserver, hit me up and we can go adventuring in Tamriel together!

Now thanks to the One Tamriel patch you can explore the whole world as any alliance member, so even if we're not in the same alliance, we can still go and do dungeons, dolmens and trials together, or just hang around at town and have fun, or explore Tamriel.

Also tomorrow starts double XP Orsinium anniversary event where you can get double chests and double resources yields as well. The perfect time to jump back in! (also tomorrow's the last day of the Halloween event).

Green_Hilltop: Friends!
We have those here? I thought we just had occasional contracts not to yell each other into submission.
TESO... bought, installed but barely played... Should give it another shot, but first I should see if it's up to date...
Now you can go anywhere in the game, almost, no matter what faction you choose. Opens the world way up

Well, NOW there's about to be...
I just heard about this myself.

Is it everything TES in one world? I mean, I realize technically all the games exist in the same world, but they all have different styles, story arcs, as well as the tweeking that was done to races as the series has progressed.

Yep, it's all set on the continent of Tamriel, however the games are set in different time periods - the first four main games are set on a timescale of about ten years in the Third Era, while the fifth one (Skyrim) is set 400 years after the events of Oblivion, the fourth game. TESO on on the other hand takes place in the Second Era.

Also the races have changed mostly only visually, and it's more like going back to the originall designs, if you look at portraits of the races from the first two games. Some things have been tweaking, changed and/or expanded upon, eg. originally Cyrodiil was supposed to be a jungle, but because it'd be hard/imposible to create it at that time, it instead was changed to plains, forests and frolicking meadows in TES IV (and in-game justified by saying that either Talos/Tiber or Akatosh went back in time and changed it, heh!).

You're going about this the wrong way then.

Thanks.
It will be ages before I can try this but because of the thread I reinstalled Morrowind and Oblivion last night.

The way I play? XD HA!

I'm boring.

I spent an hour last night trying to find the infamous Ring Of Destruction hidden at the beginning of Oblivion despite the fact that it's really not a very good trinket.

It's the house across from the inn at the other end of the Imperial Bridge. Kill slaughter fish and give him the scales for it.
