It can make it look a bit nicer for those that want such, like TFIX....though such are, of course, optional.

(There are also better graphics mods like one which is 1 file you throw into the install folder and that's it.....but they can lag the game a bit on very old systems)

(Btw there is a prequel, which might also be for sale on GOG...though it's not needed to play it first to enjoy this game. Also there is a semi-decent "saw(film series)" like sequel as well)

Which was given away for free in 2014. That was an odd one, giving away the second in a series...

Well that game is more or less self contained...then even wrapped up the loose ends(more or less) from the first game with the intro to the second...like: "Eh, here's what happened....that case is now closed, so focus on this new one"

Also GOG has given other second games out before, so it's no unheard of. :)

To the thread: Saw the game list is a little sparse, so I will be tossing a few (cheapish) codes to Fink to add in 5 days or so....so be sure to check back in when the current sale ends or a bit after.

In the last couple of years there were also Shadow Warrior 2 (the one that won the giveaway poll) and Freespace 2.

Come to think of it, I think that's how I got the second one. It's driven me crazy having a sequel but not the original, so I'm looking forward to playing them finally :)
