TanguyLOZ: so could it be a solution to play them on this OS ? I hope !
For me, Midtown Madness 2 works better on Linux using WINE than it ever has in any version of windows newer than XP. I'm sure there are others.
What an awesome giveaway! I am a long time Linux user myself and I play my games pretty much exclusively on Linux.
I like Linux because it is so easily customizable. Even without all the crap Microsoft has been pulling recently with Windows 10, I much prefer Linux.

I would like to enter for Octodad: Dadliest Catch.

Glad to hear it ! *consults wikipedia* And it's quite recent too ! *reads more* And it was developped by Microsoft *facepalm* *laughs maniacally*

TanguyLOZ: A question about Linux and gaming, I keep an eye on it since Windows 8 where I could not run a lot of old games, or they had graphical and sound issues. I know some games were designed to work with old hardware; so could it be a solution to play them on this OS ? I hope !
There are a number of games that run better in Wine than they do on Windows. A few examples from my experience:

Divinity II: Developer's Cut (doesn't run at all on my Win7 install)
Max Payne (missing sound on Vista and later, but runs perfectly in Wine)
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
Sacrifice
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate
Thanks for this generous giveaway, and for promoting Linux !  I'm still using Windows 7, but I'm planning to install Linux Mint on my next PC.   I used in the past, as well as [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knoppix]Knoppix for system debugging.

If it's still possible, I'd like to be in for :

 ▪  Layers of Fear + Inheritance DLC
 ▪  SOMA
 ▪  Lumo
 ▪  Kerbal Space Program
 ▪  Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series
 ▪  Aragami

yes, especially all the old DirectDraw games that need all sorts of compatibility trickery on newer Windows have a good chance to "just work"™ with wine. Same if you stumble on some rare win16 executable somewhere.

I have only a little bit experience with linux. And I just installed Mint in a couple of pc's for kids classes (they only needed a web browser and some word processor).
Maybe I should also try installing some classic games for 'em next time...

But for me, I'd like to try for a few games:
> Tyranny - Commander Edition
> Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition
> Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition + The White March - Expansion Pass
> Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

Thank you!

Thanks for the great giveaway.

I haven't really used Linux much at all, I booted up a VM with it to do LetsEncrypt but my hosting provider does it through cPanel now and I don't have to.
I would love to use it more, and maybe switch to it, but I'm still at the point where I use a lot of Windows only stuff and I kind of feel that if I had to duel boot to use some stuff I'd probably use Windows most and there wouldn't be much point to having Linux.
Someday though, I'd like to have even a secondary machine running Linux and really get to grips with what it can do.
Amazing giveaway, adamhm! It surely draws attention! ;-)

Also thanks again for your guide, it's quite inspiring. I really fed up with Windows after they changed their update policy torwards Win10. I was to keep my main machine Win7 for the time being, but since a few weeks I'm seriously thinking about switching to Mint. You guide might come in very handy soon.

Since the list is two posts long, a dare to enter too, if I may.
Cheers and thanks +1
