I am new to GOG and couldn't post anything for a while and it suddenly worked. I expected a "delete post" option anyway, in case :-/

Don't worry, no harm intended. I'm sure you'll fit right in. Welcome.

Hmm, according to your topic, you might like this thread:

Welcome to the forum! ;-)
Echo?
Thanks for the welcome :)
Hmm I wanted to actually post a new topic about the game I am thinking to release on GOG but unfortunately When I press Post the message, nothing happens. Tried it several times again and on different browser.
Is there any thing I am missing? Like too many lines or something?
I am confused...
Did the post contain urls? If I'm not mistaken you need a bit more rep to be able to post links.

What game do you want to discuss?

The maximum post length is around 10000 characters, including spaces, newlines, punctuation and whatnot, but you're somewhat restricted as a new user. As has already been mentioned, you cannot post links if you're below 7 rep (this includes just having something that looks like a URL in the text even if you did not intend to make it a link).
yes the post contain the link to the homepage of the game so that people don't have to google for it. I basically wanted to ask the community if it would be a good idea to release it on GOG (has been release on Steam and Desura already).
I will try to post it without the link, maybe a mod could add it afterwards, or not.

You could also edit the post yourself later, when you've gained a few points of rep, which shouldn't take long.

Every day you post something, you gain 1 rep.
If your post is marked as the solution to thread marked as a question, you gain 5 rep.
You can also gain and lose rep if people rate your post positively or negatively. It's not 1 rep per rating, but I don't know how many ratings are needed for each rep.

But most important of all: DON'T WORRY about the rep. It's a bit annoying when you're new and are somewhat limited in what you can do, but soon enough you'll have very little reason to bother yourself about any slight changes that may occur.
