Let’s see what’s waiting for you this time!

Until June 23rd, 1 PM UTC, feel free to claim your copy of Hell Division – a third-person shooter where you pilot lethal drones.

Become a pilot of an armed military drone and plunge into adrenaline-fueled action set in a cyberpunk city divided between two ruthless corporations. The confrontation is inevitable, the question is – will you prevail?

This awesome title was made by Whale Rock Games – a young video game studio from Kiev full of talented people who believe in the idea that being a real fan of your work helps the whole team reach great success.

And that’s certainly the case when you look at their titles. To celebrate their passion and heart for video games we’ve prepared a Collection containing their whole GOG’s catalog with, of course, Summer Sale discounts! There, you’ll find games like:

We are the Dwarves (-93%)
An action-based tactical adventure with active pause (extreme slowdown of time) placing you in control of three Dwarven astronauts. Take control of Forcer, Smashfist, and Shadow as they explore the unknown territories of the stone universe while meeting new civilizations and ancient monsters from the deep layers of space.

SPACE ACCIDENT (-87%)
An adventure, puzzle-solving and exploration title. The year is 2119. A turning point has begun in the history of space. The moment of the beginning of the colonial development of objects of the solar system. States rapidly began to develop and implement their projects, striving to establish power in yet unexplored space territories. You will not only have to solve difficult puzzles and explore the storyline but also find the intricacies of game mechanics that will allow you to go further. Be attentive to details!

Dofamine (-87%)
A first-person sci-fi puzzle game where you must explore the labyrinth of riddles and investigate the apocalyptic event at the research facility following the experiments with the Higgs boson, or “the God particle”.

NeverSynth (-85%)
A third person game that is a rhythm driving simulator. It’s a dynamic action title in which you have to drive a car to rhythmic music and collect beats. The more beats you collect, the more game points you earn. Immerse yourself in the amazing world of retro wave and synth wave. Driving on an endless highway between skyscrapers and bright sunset will take you to the electronic past.

…and of course many more! Check out the Collection, pick your favorite titles and enjoy the Whale Rock Games goodness on great deals.

When it comes to the aforementioned Frostpunk bargain – for the next 48 hours (until June 23rd, 1 PM UTC) everyone who purchases Frostpunk will receive its The Last Autumn expansion as a GIFT.

Frostpunk is a highly-praised strategy and survival simulator. In its ultimately frozen world, people develop steam-powered technology to oppose the overwhelming cold. The city ruler has to manage both the inhabitants and the infrastructure the citizens live in. Leader’s tactical skills face challenges, frequently questioning morality and the basic foundation of what we consider an organized society.

The Last Autumn presents a prequel story set in a new environment not yet covered by snow that allows you to construct the Generator from the ground up to prepare their society for the upcoming winter.

Be sure to claim the GIVEAWAY, check out the Whale Rock Games Collection, grab Frostpunk with a GIFT and… stay tuned for more Summer Sale fun!
Not even for free! GOG really needs an IGNORE-Button.

I don't know to whom at GOG Whale Rock Games offered some 'special services' in exchange to get on the store with their asset-flip-level quality games but it obvioulsy worked.

GOG.com: Hell Division GIVEAWAY
As always: thanks for the freebie, GOG and Whale Rock Games.
Look, GOG, we get it. You want to support Ukraine. Most of us want to, as well, but not like this. Not by supporting an extremely shady, unethical "developer" who raises prices several hundred percent so it can then put its games on sale at 90% discount in every sale. That doesn't even touch upon how many games it has in Early Access right now.

The fact that this "developer" is supposedly based in Ukraine does not mean its "games" should bypass the curation process.
No evidence that whoever is getting the money for Whale Rock games is in Ukraine...as someone mentioned above, no website, no address, no real-world contact details, nothing. Their name and online presence might have been taken over by Russians for all we know.
I think that, after I played Hell Division, I would quickly try to remove it from my library. And since I cannot do that, I will simply stand by the sidelines and let this freebie pass. Looking at its gameplay on Youtube helped me dissipate my doubts.
I would rather buy a movie here on GOG than install and run this on my system. I share the opinion of others: that even free, this game is too expensive.

I don't understand all the negativity here. If the developer is a total scam, why should they risk giving away one of their games? Many critics here and only 8 reviews in English during the last 6 months, most of them lame and highly suspicious.
I take the game to try it and then hit really hard with my negative review if it deserves it.
Thank you developers for taking that risk giving me a game for free.
Problem is that these reviews are obviously fale and were probably posted by the devs themselves to promote their games. Another problem is that GOG obviously supports this behavior while they do delete reviews from real customers explaining that these are against review guidelines. I have been told that devs get money from GOG with every copy claimed so if this should be true claiming this means supporting such practices as well.

Thanks, it makes sense. I'm affraid I already claimed it so once I play it the hard negative review will be imminent if deserved. To then experience that possible GOG reviews deletion issue. Any recommendation about it? Did people get organized somehow to save the deleted reviews?

Try it for us little guineapig. If the review of yours is legit good or bad, let us know if your review is up or gets removed. Then people can see whats going on eother way. Plus it helps anyone not doing the work, giving positive accolades for any of on forum that is curious about company practice. Win win!

kai2: Whale Rock and GOG...

... there must be something going on behind-the-scenes.
At first I thought that GOG was interested in WRG's catalogue not so much because of the games themselves, but because of the pricing policy of WRG.
I mean, WRG is one of those companies that can always offer deep discounts, and that's convenient for the store, from GOG's point of view it's good to always have the option of adding the "up to 90% off" label to any sale they create.

That's what I thought, but now it's getting really weird, I don't understand why they insist on promoting this company and their games so much.

It's done. A copy of my review to save it here:

Beware: An inferior high school project.

I played it for 30 minutes. A boring hell!
Its whole HUD is a health bar... No controls for elevation! You just move back & forth shooting the endless enemy drones until you see they explode or your health bar depletes to start the level over again. And that's all the fun you get.
The repetitive background music gets boring fast. A waste of 6 Gigabytes and my time.
Totally unhappy with this game received for free.

Unfortunately, the rumors were true. How do I remove this game from my library?

You don't -- you just hide it.

Okay, thanks. And my review's still there. The situation isn't that bad then.
