Has anyone here played the game yet? From what I'm seeing, it's just as well that it's a live service game with Denuvo DRM which will probably never be available through GOG. Although the game is set in the Arkhamverse, I personally think it's more thematic and was probably used as a marketing strategy than actually having a story that's tied to the beloved Batman Arkham series. They seem to be contradicting some of the story elements in the Arkham series too.

Worst of all, I really don't like how some of the Justice League members were butchered in the story. The gameplay seems to be extremely repetitive too, although some reviews said that it could be fun if you like customizing your characters a lot and shooting nonstop. Let me know what you all think. As for me, I am going to consider Suicide Squad: JKTL as a separate thing from the Arkham series.
If i remember correctly, the game requires you to be always-online to play it..
It looks like a cheap cashgrab to me.

I read an article about how that game has Harley Quinn murder Batman by shooting him in the head, which is ludicrous.

And they didn't even draw the characters properly either. The real Harley Quinn doesn't look anything like she does in the game, and she would never murder Batman, and the real Batman would never allow that to happen either.
i have seen a couple of reviews, and so far the verdict seems to be: great graphics, good combat, interesting and very good traversal systems, humor that actually is funny at time - but - very empty, no enemy variations, boring quests, repetetive, boring storyline, storyline actually a little misleading, no end game.

most people so far has it as meh to bad, a few people like it. it is a live service game, so eveything that goes with it, including possibly a bteer end game later down the line and more content... if it survives long enough....

Yup, that's right. It also has micro-transactions for cosmetic items.

Yeah, it's pretty far-fetched that Batman was totally unable to overcome Brainiac's control. I mean, we've seen him go through much worse throughout the entire Arkham series, especially in Arkham Knight.

People seem to be divisive about the combat, but the graphics are a definite downgrade.

i dont care about graphics in developmentt and concept stages, because that is just concept and in development

i was talking about the graphics of the game that is actually out now, not the game people thought it would be a couple of years ago. the reviews I have seen seems to think that the graphics are good, and the gameplay is fast and fluid. that is all I care about. granted, the UI is a bit cluttereed, and there is too many numbers on the screen, but the characters are very good. the facial animation of Harley Quinn and Boomerang are next level.

I agree that the facial animations are pretty darn good, but I was actually comparing it to their previous entry - Batman: Arkham Knight. Check the YouTube video.
high rated
Its presence on this list is all I need to know about it:

i really dont care.... the game looks good, it is clear, the characters are distinct, it is colorful, it is fluid. the draw distance is good and so on. how it comapres to another game is meaningless, just judge the game as it is.
Was looking forward to it, but always online and additional malware is a big no go.

It's a downright fascinatingly misconceived project. Seemingly everything worst about cliched service games and a complete insult to one of the best and most liked series of the last 15 years, to which it really didn't need to be connected at all. It's like they only made that connection to spit the Arkham fans in the face.

I will be really surprised if it sells well, but then utter shit like Diablo Immortal apparently prints money, so what do I know.

From what I've heard "Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League refund" has raced to the top of searches.

then you should really check your sources... as far as i can see, it is not even on the top 100 searches this week...

I dont get it, The game is not very good, in fact I think it is bad. but why do people have to lie about it?

*LOL* Harley really has become WB's version of Wolverine. They'll probably have her kill Superman and Darkseid by whacking them with her hammer.
It seems P3 Reloaded is a better way for spending your gaming allowance . . .

Personally I will take a pass. With Darktide still gathering dust on the shelves it seems i'm completely settled concerning the team based shooting adventure stuff.
