Have you tried Solo btw, the Norwegian take on the Fanta? They're both sold side by side, but Solo has a better distinct orange flavour.

And a bit history:
https://www.thevintagenews.com/2017/02/14/fanta-was-invented-in-nazi-germany-due-to-a-trade-embargo-on-importing-coca-cola-syrup/

Damn, I didn't know that ;)

EDIT: In comparison, Solo came out in 1934 in Norway.

I just checked, and no they aren't, except for one and only one, which is indeed AO.

Here's a link that proves it:
https://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.aspx?from=home&titleOrPublisher=leisure%20suit%20larry

Very strange that GOG sells it yet refuses to sell many other AO games & VNs.

But that one exception of one AO game on GOG doesn't resolve the issue; rather it just creates more questions about it in regards to GOG's inconsistency. i.e. Why does GOG allow one AO game, but still refuses legions of others because they are AO? That's a double standard.

GOG is still going to need to address this question publicly sooner or later.

GameRager: In many countries(including the US where I am from) there are two ratings for 18+ games.....M/R rated(fortitles with adult content that isn't pure smut), and AO/MA/etc(which is media with pure smut/sex in it). Gog could(and probably is) be banning/against the latter but not the former.
that's just silly

I knew at least one was, and I think Magna Cum Laude has been re-classified

The two tiered adult rating system, or the idea about gog?

Grargar: Meh, I'm not sure the developers would even be interested in creating a censored version just to release here.

Then again, when they consider GOG a "paragon of free speech" (pffftttt), they may not even be aware that GOG doesn't have an adult filter like Steam does.
I will defend GOG's right to decide what games to sell and what games not to sell very strongly.
I amnot going to blame GOG if they decide not to sell a game that is pretty much marketing itself as a porn game.
Yes, GOG sells a few slaightly naughty games like Duke Nukem 3D and the Leisure Suite Larry games, but those are PG 13 at the worst but Subverse seems to be what uset to be called "X rated".

No, they don't. GOG has a perfect right to choose what games it sells and what does not.
I think GOG' thinking is a medley risqué game like the Leisure Suit Larry games are OK< but something a lot harder like Subverse is billing itself is something they would rather not handle.

Grealty amused by people who probably could not run a corner lemonade stand sucessfuly telling a company how to run it's business.

But I do think GOD should have ,our of common courtesy, replied to the puvlishers.

Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, it's odd but that's the system we have....one rating for mature stuff(for adults yet not porn) and one for pure porn.

1. They have the right, just as some of us have the right to be upset at what we see as censorship.

2. Because one must be a business maverick in order to have any opinion on the matter, apparently.

3. Agreed

It's not about users telling company how to run its business. It's about company NOT telling how it runs its business.

There is a concept called "transparency" which is referred to companies being clear and opened of their business practices. Sadly, GOG "manual curation" is one of many activities which is not transparent at all.

I was half wondering a few days ago if there was any update on this game. Good to see it's coming along.

Personally i thought the trailer was outright hilarious...
Probably best not to read too much into them not getting a reply; Part of the reason Rake in Grass stopped trying to offer their excellent Jets and Guns series of shootemups was because they couldn't get in contact with GOG, and as a tiny studio they weren't willing to waste such a lot of time instead of making and improving the game, which is why I keep trying to pester GOG into reaching out to them!

Edit: Yikes didn't realise this was such an old necro-thread >_>
Crap, I thought this was about Subnautica. :/
And it's a necro. :P

Well it's in the news... i'd rather see this revived with some history with more info than several new threads on the same thing.
