It's a pretty good game. Steam or GoG makes no diff to me, each year that passes makes it less and less likely that I will ever bother building a new PC.
I'm going to get the Xbox version once it looks like the early access build is nearing completion, it is pretty feature complete at the moment but badly needs optimization. After that my guess is that the dev will concentrate on a PS4 version as the next most viable effort vs reward project.

Well, if UnknownWorlds gives a shit for gamers that set value on DRM or a native Linux version then I give a shit for their game!
... In ten years there will be better games than that - it will be just as if you'd buy Lands of Lore 1 now. They don't want my money now, fine - there will be none in 10 years either!

Too bad this is such an old thread. I am one of those waiting for this on Gog.com...

I'm... not certain why the OP was downvoted ? This place is confusing.
And Subnautica is a great game. I have the only gripe of its eat/drink rate balance. Either you turn hunger/thirst system off completely, or you get this weird pace demanding you to hunt fish and purify water every 30 seconds. I wish there was a bit of an inbetween setting, where you don't spend that much time that often replenish food/water, but where food and water production is still a factor.

I gave this one a +1 in the community wishlist a year ago, even though I was not personally interested in it. It is about time it hits the Gog store.

I don't like eat/drink mechanics in games in general, because it always feels wrong.

low rated
most of the games people want here are not gonna come heres the list of games i want and have 0 chance of coming here.
sniper elite v2 and v3
eurotruck simulator
pro evolution soccer pre 2014
metal gear rising
dynasty warriors 1 - 6
devil may cry 1 - 4
3d ultra mini golf
call of duty 4
despite everything the wishlist thing is useless, and GOG are just gonna bring these crappy indie games here instead of actual good old triple A titles which people love so much. sad cos i dnt wanna see all these random titles here ofc this is my personal opinion, ofc others might like these games and thats fine. but if GOG got more well known triple A games on here they would attract more people here
