To any future moderator reading this (probably monday):
I ask you to not lock this thread because this is clearly a drop out from the other 'mod' discussion thread that went down to political reasons. I know you can't read 140+ posts to tell the difference, but Im being honest here. Thank you. To you two, read me please:
I ask both of you to resolve your issues with one another on private and not on this thread.
This thread has nothing to do with the drama the other thread is causing and the focus of it
is to sincerily ask GOG to offer us alternatives to the issues currently present with the Preservation Program. I really don't know who started, I have not read any of your posts, but noticed that something was wrong.
Please, don't do this here because if you do moderators will be required to close this thread which has nothing to do with what you both seems to be fighting over and the preservation of original offline installers is a GOG discussion worth having on this forum.
If you're in any way mature about this, just ignore each other and let the moderators solve the issue, please and thank you.

Bump to what seems to me as the last On Topic post made before it started here too. And my personal reason for why I created this thread is explained here, since some of the on topic discussion went to "you shouldn't have created this thread, but instead send a ticket to the moderators asking refunds" or the like arguments:
