Hi,

please consider me in for Commandos Ammo Pack

My main non-gaming hobby is painting (not only on paper)
You can see my wall paintings here :)
Not in but +1
Congratulations on both of the achievements and +1 for the generous giveaway!

Please count me in for Wargame: European Escalation.

My main non-gaming hobby now is swimming. I'm trying hard to perfect my styles even now in the winter when outside is -10 deg. C (of course I swim in indoor pools but still to many of my friends it seems like a challenge :( )

Thanks for the give away and congrats on 3 stars.

Please count me in for Wargame: European Escalation.

Playing video games, watching tv and movies are my only hobbies.
I did try magic the gathering around.. well A LONG time ago, and looking back on it now, I wish I didn't ... 100% waste of money gambling on opening booster packages.

I would like to get into reading (beyond short stories and comics that is) more often, if that is considered a hobby.
Congrats!

Not in, but thanks.
Im in for Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura

As for the hobby, i know you said non-gaming hobby, but i took it as non-videogames ... i enjoy playing cards, all kinds of card games

Thanks for the giveaway

I'm in for Legend of Grimrock.

As for a hobby, right now it would be games, watching movies and tv series (and I know movies and tv hardly counts as a hobby).

Thanks for the giveaway.
One of my main hobbies is singing, mainly in choirs. It´s the only way of DOING music I´m really able to enjoy, as it´s such different to BE the music instrument instead of playing it! :)
And it just got so many different aspects you could focus on, which is really cool!

Oh, and I´d like to be in for Pixeljunk Monsters!

budejovice: It's pretty cool learning about the hobbies of folks. Thanks! I have an interest in many of the things already written and I have wild-eyed plans to address everyone posting here later this week. :)
Let me guess, sewing is at the top of your list, right?

Congrats on the achievements, big thanks for the GA, and +1.

Good giveaway budejovice! I was drawn in by the "stars and round numbers" title - too curious not to peek.

I MIGHT be in - can anyone give me a rundown on Haegemonia? It's caught my attention recently (I almost made a joke post in the promo thread for the stategy game sale not too long ago RE: replacing Conquest with Haegemonia). I figured I'd ask about it when it went on sale, but here seems as good a place as any.

What I'm looking for is something with some 4X qualities, but more tactical / RPG. As examples, I'm hoping the game is more like say, Nexus or Star Wolves but with some 4X peppered in - that's what it looks like, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any experience with this one?

Extra points if it focuses on "personalities" that develop / level up over time (Captains, Governors, Spies, etc). What I'm NOT looking for is 4X with mainly RTS aspects. Less Homeworld or Sword of the Stars, more 4X with RPG and tactical play. Think Star Wolves and you're in the ballpark. Think Total War but fully in real time for something that would be close to what I'm hoping for as well. Would love any info!

As for hobbies. I've mentioned my big one here once or twice before. I love to brew beer! I try to do a ~5 gallon batch per month, sometimes when I'm lucky I get one in at the start and one in at the end. Sometimes I miss a month. But I enjoy it quite a bit... of all my hobbies it's the one people in my life are most likely to hear me blab about ;)

To be honest I wasn't totally sure what Haegemonia was either. So I did some research and here is a review that might help you know if you want it http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/hegemonia-legions-of-iron-review/1900-2901045/ I learned it wasn't quite what I thought it was hope this helps :)

+1, not in.

Does posting on the GOG forum count as a hobby? If so, it's a major hobby of mine.

I wanted to post complaining about all the hobbies I no longer engage with and want to get back to. Even my content consumption is on a low burner, but I do manage a bit of gaming / reading / TV watching these days (although I think I read more children books and watch children's TV than my own choice, but some of it is fun). I haven't been to karate class for a year or so, and at best do a quarter kata a week, or something like this. Don't even fully remember some of them.

But I realised that I'm still a hardware enthusiast, even if I largely moved to Android for my gaming / content consumption needs. I still follow developments in PC hardware, as well as mobile and other tech gadgets, I still enjoyed reinstalling the laptop after the hard disk failed and was replaced, I enjoyed cleaning the Radeon 5850 I wanted to use for work, I installed custom firmware on my backup tablet, bought a controller for my tablets, researched and bought a tablet. So I think that's a major hobby of mine.
Congrats on your third star, budejovice! What a generous way to celebrate it! :) Exceptional selection of titles.

I'm a fan of peakbagging myself but I don't do it enough to call it a hobby. Last year I moved to Beijing and climbed Lingshan and this year I'm planning to climb Huangshan.
My other hobbies include watching movies, language learning, poker, swimming.

Please count me in for Master of Orion 1 + 2.

congrats for your achievement and I would like to enter for Haegemonia Gold Edition

a non-gaming hobby I have is horror. I love anything horror related and spend quite a lot of time reading horror novels (mostly stephen king) and watching horror movies.
