So come and join us aboard the DRM-free freighter, our trip through Stardock's many space and strategy universes is about to get prolific!
Good on you gog for getting stardock to join here. I was surprised when I saw those games on your main screen. I've abandoned stardock ages ago when they tried forcing there client down my throats for game updates and dlcs. To see them here on gog has me feel like a kid again. o/
One thing Stardock and GOG share is the belief that first class customers of today are the second class customers of tomorrow. That can goes both ways luckly. So for now we should enjoy this Stardock change of heart and lack of drm, until they change their mind again.

Some of the games are really good and at least here we shouldn't worry about being sold to other companies or having to redeem our purchase elsewhere or having to login to play.

It's funny that the thing GOG is trying to do with Galaxy is somehow similar to what Stardock was trying to do with Impulse Reactor. Gamers Bills of Right is still a lie tough.
Never heard of Stardock before, but it's always good see new publishers here on GOG.
THIS! NEWS! DOES! NOT! EXCITE! ME! AT! ALL!

So, what other games does Stardock have besides the GalCiv games? And what day one releases are heading our way?

You might want to look at the upcoming tab. And from the looks of it we might get Offworld Trading Company and Ashes of Singularity as Day-1-release.

So we will basically get more strategy games - both RTS and TBS

DRM-FREE Sins of a Solar Empire? Looking forward to it!
I wonder if Fallen Enchantress is heading towards GOG. And if the game is good or not. I have to admit, GalCiv3 and Sorcerer King were the first games that brought me into contact with Stardock. And both games haven't left a good impression on me...but FE looks like it could be interesting.

edit: haven't read the whole post as well ^_^`

From the FAQ about Offworld Trading Company:
"Does Offworld Trading Company use Steam?
Offworld Trading Company will be distributed exclusively through Steam. Whether you buy it directly from our publisher Stardock, through Steam, or through another retailer, you will receive a Steam code that you will then need to link to your Steam account in order to download and play."
So GoG will sell Steam keys for OTC?
have most the old stuff mentioned already... nice to be able to keep an eye out for some new stuff here as well.
Great news!
Welcome Stardock and congratulations to GOG! :-)
fyi people:
stardock is going to be doing Star control 4

It's great to see some titles being finally free of double DRM (Stardock Account + Steam). Really looking forward to the release of Sins (Rebellion)!

Btw, what Galaxy features are supported in Galactic Civilizations II? Can't seem to find anything special there.
Thanks for the links! For, I have now seen one of my favorite game reviews:

"I felt this game didn't really offer all that much long term playability for its price point at $20, and now at $40 its become a blatent rip off." 85.4 hours on record. :)
