I will add on to this, that there should be a stickied official "Games that are being removed" thread up at the top of the forum. Then we can just drop in and check things out at anytime, instead of risking an individual thread sinking to the bottom (which it inevitably will), where the only people who saw the news are those who happen to be around within the time-frame.

It'd also be nice if we could opt in to email alerts to let us know each time a game is soon to be taken out of the catalogue.

Sounds like you haven't heard: the Descent games have returned to GOG. I think it happened just a week or two ago.

I was actually talking about the fact that the Descent games were absent from GOG for a couple of years,despite GOG reassuring us that it is just a matter of developer making a deal with the publisher and bringing the games back here.And i do know that the Descent games returned ;p.Cheers
