Which might not have helped you in that case. The email with the discounts has not been sent to all subscribers, only to selected ones. As far as I remember you had to own at least one of the Beamdog games (or even one of the EE games) to get this offer.

The only games I had previously were Icewind Dale II, the classic version of Baldur's Gate and the Neverwinter Nights title that was in mass giveaway. None of the EE titles, and Icewind Dale II was bought during a regular sitewide sale at a ridiculously low price. So in that scenario, in theory at least, anyone who was registered and active enough to claim the Neverwinter Nights title and opted in to the emails could've received the discounts.
Would love to get on this sale, but I cant seem to buy anthing at all through GOG! :'( Is this happening to anyone else? Id hate to miss out because of this.

Haven't heard about a general issue, at least. Can you specify what problem you're having?

Is it on the site, store cart, payment, or confirmation? With the specific details someone here may be able to help.
So, NWN EE 64-bit on Linux is going to happen... when exactly?
I bought the Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition and Forgotten Realms - The Archives - Collection One. I look forward to buying the other two in future offers :)

ShadowWulfe: Boy oh boy I sure wish Beamdog would update their games on GOG. Considering that we pay for them and all.
The 2.6 update for BG, BG II and IWD EE isn´t out yet and according to Beamdog forums the NN EE-Patchlevel is the same accross PC-Storefronts.
Please, don´t be harder on Beamdog then they deserve. Focus your anger on Klei, which didn´t bring the Remaster-DLC for MarkOfTheNinja on GOG, which is a real shame.
Have yet to purchase Neverwinter Nights.

It has loads of content but with only one companion (can you really call that D&D?) and lackluster presentation just can't seem to get excited -- always feels there are better games on which to spend that money.

Anyone feel like this and then -- post-purchase -- get sold on the actual gameplay experience?

Of course you can. After all it's just called D&D and not F&R&C&M or something. ;) You can have solo adventures in D&D even.

That being said, "only one companion" only goes for the first two campaigns which are weaker than Hordes of the Underdark and many community modules anyway and could be skipped. I've played modules with parties consisting of 3-5 companions plus packmules or so, IIRC. However, you only ever control one character, and since the AI is not the smartest, more companions in your party can actually mean more people to get annoyed by, too. ;)
