It's been a while since we've had one of these, I think.

The last sale*, one I took advantage of, was a newsletter "exclusive" discount on most of them. The only thing that wasn't included were some of the soundtracks and the "released after the fact" Neverwinter DLC.

* (edited to add - the last non-major sitewide sale)

Great opportunity to partially complete my collection with Stronghold. It is one of the most unknown titles in the collection. A very interesting Hybrid gem.

And A Wish:

With Birthright the Gorgon Alliance and the "cursed" Pool of Radiance Ruins of Myth Drannor from Stormfront Studios the GOG Dungeons and Dragons collection for PC would be nearly complete. Peace would rule the world and everybody would be happy forever :)

Greetings

I will wait until they make those discounts available to everyone, in a normal sale...

eiii: ...available to everyone...
No one's blocked from opting in to the newsletter, but I otherwise get the point you want to make.

Those discounts were better than the sale currently, excluding the mentioned items that weren't in it. Most of the Enhanced Edition games were $3USD, which is why I bothered with it at all.

Gathered like this on a dedicated, I think so too. Conversely, they are not at heir lowest... I've been eyeing the Forgotten Realms Collections 1 & 2, but managed to miss them when they were at their lowest (which I believe was 1.79€ each, more than a year ago if I'm not mistaken).

1,69€

Collection Three was 0,99€

Boy oh boy I sure wish Beamdog would update their games on GOG. Considering that we pay for them and all.

I wish them bankruptcy. Maybe we can have back the originals then. Without needing to pay these hacks.
Cant speak for anyone else but I am not fond of how if you buy these, it negates your existing copies of the original games.

It would not be so bad if these people had not messed with these games so much.

Please elaborate.

I own the OG Baldur's Gate 1 & 2. Are you saying if I were to buy the "enhanced" versions it would somehow delete my OGs? Although I cannot believe this is true, this sounds concerning....

I was about to purchase all of these but being that I'm a card carrying member of CAG (CheapAssGamer) I don't think I can bring myself to pull the trigger if these are roughly double their lowest price. Hmmmm....

I don't believe it is, not to imply the other user is a liar or anything though.

I bought the enhanced versions when they were actually cheap, even though the people who got them via Connect got the truly better deal, and I have the original versions available as separate games in my GOG library. I can't see a reality where buying the enhanced versions overwrites or removes the originals, especially considering GOG's store pages make it known that buying them grants you both old and new versions.

Ah, I can totally relate :) Although, if it helps re-balance the decision process, I have confirmed the actual date for that deal... it was at 23-04-2018. Which means that, in these last two years, all sales have been at around the current price.

That said, if those 2018 prices were to repeat, the set of three collections would indeed be an insta-buy (along with a few others in that list... causing one to spend even more than with the current pricing, but with added content).
