It seems to all depend on when, if ever, the developer gets around to adding Galaxy support to the game. Here's the official response. Read the second to last paragraph.

Thanks a lot for digging up the info!

I wish they'd release it DRM-free on something other than Steam, such as Humble Store. That, at least, wouldn't require Galaxy integration...

Or they could just ignore Galaxy integration altogether, just like shovel knight did. Just release it DRM-Free.
