Take it easy Fenixp - good on you for lasting as long as you did. I cut back on the forums a good while ago when I saw the new trend (like you said, still a good community overall, but... yeah).

It was sad to read your post. I have always enjoyed your comments on the forums.

Things were much more interesting back when I first joined. I even miss the threads about rep and the conspiracy theory involving a serial de-repper and his army of alts.

I still say it is not necessary for you to leave. I've been active on here a lot less than you, but if you ask me, the best way to behave is say your piece (in whatever the discussion here is), and then ignore anyone and everyone who's obviously and intentionally being a troll.
For me that last part is very hard, because I think "what if someone reads what they said in response to me, and because of that think what I said is lacking or wrong or something?!"
But I've come to realise that most people recognise a troll or an idiot for what they are, so there's no need to stoop down to their level.
Ahem...anyhow, that was probably me projecting my own feelings more than anything you felt. Still, be sad to see such an "oldie" go.
