Hopefully GOG is realizing that there was a time nobody would have opened such a thread like this because there simply was no need for it. GOG was unique and good and nobody wanted to use a similar site like GOG at all. Still a bit sad about recent events but yes, I've bookmarked this thread for myself for the same reason (even though I still have a little hope left that GOG will remember).

Just read this:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/offline_installers_with_an_option_to_install_gog_galaxy/post929

Maybe there still is hope after all?

Maybe there is. I hope so. But just in case I have bookmarked this thread too and made an account at zoom-platform.

Same here. I now have Death Rally, so it did some good.

Djaron: wait, the site is a bit confusing for me (layout and info)
all stuff in store are supposed to be drm free ? or games that are drm free have an additional mention/tag about it ?

because i saw games there that aint available anywhere else drm free

also: on gamersgate.com they have a few drmfree games too, long ago i bought a drm free version of crusader kings 2 there, as well as a crystal quest too

Impaler26: Yep, all games at ZOOM are DRM-Free:

https://www.zoom-platform.com/#services

The site-layout is indeed not great but so far i bought 1 game there and downloading and installing worked just fine.
i asked that because zoom display both ovelord 1+ raisin hell AND overlord 2... and the second overlord had never been found anywhere (even here where 1st one is) in a drm free version

I got Overlord 2 there and it runs nicely. Fun game too! :-)
Thanks guys, bookmarked this thread.

nightcraw1er.488: Cool, thanks. Hadn't heard of this one. Website looks a bit awful, but I see ascension to the throne there which I got off strategyfirst (another store I used before they went all steam key only), but no ATTT Valkyrie. Shame. Will have a good look through later.

Impaler26: They have a few nice games not available on GOG so it's worth checking their store.
And you don't have to buy a game if you wanna try how things work, just create an account and add one of their free games like Death Rally to it. ;)
Death Rally (Classic) is one of the greatest games from my childhood. Now i can get it for free legally. Thanks for the heads up.

Breja: Humble Store
IndieGameStand
Fireflower Games

Also, remember that with indie games you can often buy the game DRM-free straight from the devs. Always worth looking into.

Maxvorstadt: On which of those sites can you pay with Paysafecard?
None :(
Still one of the payment methods that's not supported in many places.

Can't you use Paysafecard to fill up a Paypal account? And Paypal is accepted in many places. Including zoom-platform.

I have no idea, actually. I just assumed Maxvorstadt was asking about paysafecard since he doesn't like other payment methods? If that's something that works it might be an option for him ;)
Personally, I prefer paysafecard, but I don't mind paypal that much - I just dislike making 10 purchases for 50p each.
