Run, Coward!

Sinistar strikes again! +1 for your excelent giveaway.
"I Live!"

I wasn't sure about Black Mirror 1, so I skipped it. Fate will decide if it's worth it :P

About the "lost" things, wouldn't you want to see how ancient buildings originally looked? For example the pyramids!
Wow. The tracking master is incredibly generous! I LIVE!

So many things lost to history, like Atlantis. Although, I have heard rumors a certain Jones has rediscovered it...

Also, more information on Stonehenge, and the Battle of Teutoburg Forest. What happened to all those Roman legions?
I Live! *looks for Roddy Piper* ^^

Wow. +1 for this outstanding giveaway!!

As someone interested in history i regret the loss of cultural achievements due to wars and disasters in general.

I Live!

Interested in:
Summoner
Full Spectrum Warrior
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Neighbours From Hell Compilation

and (low priority) the Spellforce series.

Not exactly lost, but I'd love to see the Star Trek PC games available again. As for truly lost, I was never around for the Doctor Who years with Patrick Troughton. I had watched re-runs of the rest when they were on TV, but for some reason, the 2nd Doctor never got much broadcast over here. Now I find out that the BBC had taped over much of the originals, so no full seasons available on DVD...only some of the shows left.

[EDIT:] PS - Thank you IAmSinistar for the giveaway! It's like a time capsule unearthed full of lost PC games! :-)

Run, coward!

Debated going in for Gothic 1/3, but there are enough people with better claims. And I still haven't finished #2.

I posted mainly because seeing "AquaNox" made me look the game up to see if it was Nox remade for an underwater environment.
I Live!

It's not exactly lost, but I would love to see Diocletian's palace in my city restored as it once was.
It's 1700 years old and in not so bad shape considering the age, but many times I imagined how it actually looked like back then.

Run, Coward!

Thanks to yours and other fellows generosity and some money of my own in the proper sales I have all I need from this.

Right now I can't thik of anything I particularly miss but I can think of lots of things that would have been "lost" 20 or more years ago and that are available again: Old movies, TV series, records and books for example. Wether because the right-holders see some opportunity to get some cash by cleaning-up / remastering / digitizing some old content or because some fans kickstart campaigns to re-issue some loved work.

Even with things we can't recover for one reason or another I think we're very lucky in that respect.
Run, coward!

Have most of them on GOG or Steam (except for The Guild Gold Edition), so not in, but thanks.

Hmm, can't think of anything I wish was rediscovered.
I Live!

I would love to see the restoration of lost films from the early days of moviemaking. Nobody knew back then the value we would place on them today.
Run Coward!

It seems like the esteemed members of the Guild of Gifters are always trying to one up each other. A wonderful giveaway of Nordic Gold IAmSinistar, the crown jewel of which is ofcourse the beloved insomnia symbol of despair Jack Keane 2. ;)

Thanks to the thoughtful generosity of yourself, lady ddickinson, budejovice and the immensely magnanimous DampSquib I have everything that I could want from the lost Nordic catalog for which I can't thank you all enough. As for a thing that I would like to rediscover, it is certainly not as historically significant as your selection but I would very much like to find my misplaced collection of lost action figures from my childhood. :)

IAmSinistar:
Wow, that's pretty epic of a giveaway IAmSinistar! I own the majority of those games already so not entering but some lucky winner or winners will certainly be very happy!

+1, but only because there is no +892374892739274289347 option on GOG yet. ;)

I wish they'd bring back Phrenology . That's a real science, no matter what the communists say .
I Live!

If I win I'll redeem:

AquaNox
AquaNox 2: Revelation
Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge
and probably one or two other games as well from Gothic and The Guild series.

The lost thing I wish to be recovered is the way the developers used to optimize their games, mostly the indie games with low graphics, but ridiculously high system requirements (that are really needed). I hate when a game with graphics level of Super Mario from the Nintendo era, runs on 5-10 fps on 2 GHz single core CPU, dedicated DX9c PCIe VGA with 256 VRAM and 2 GB of system ram DDR2.

I Live!

In for Spellforce 2 series and The Black Mirror series.

As for a lost thing that I wish was restored, it's pretty easy, and that is a fully restoration of No One Lives Forever.
