Crosmando: Does it have any more weapons or enemies? My biggest problem with Doom wads is that no matter how good they are, you're still fighting the same old enemies with the same old weapons.

I like Gggmanlives but playing Doom with mouselook and texture filtering is the true Icon of Sin.

I prefer this short video with unboxing (standard edition) and gameplay (no super dark shadows, just standard dark areas)

From the little I have seen so far, it seems like Thy Flesh Consumed with all issues multiplied by a factor of 10.
And I found Thy Flesh Consumed terrible even in 1995.

Agreed. Apparently Romero is in an asymmetrical mode right now. Way too many drop-offs, lava channels and hidden dead-ends. Kinda reminds me of the original level Chasms, only more claustrophobic.

Romero's last Doom work wasn't that bad. This looks like a decline.

I still wish I had known about it soon enough to get the fancy edition. Ah well, will still try it out regardless of the conflicting reviews.

Exactly/
Romeor made huge contributions to gaming in his early days, but he flamed out early.
I really think his decision to leave ID an form his own company was fatal. His ID partners served the valuable function of saving Romero from his own mistakes.

And I cannot get Sigil to run in Zdoom or GZ doom using the doom wad that comes with the gog version (1.9)
No episode five appears on the episdoe mendu for ultimate doom. And I have the sigil wads in the same place where I have the wads for my other doom engine g ames. Any advice?
