Saw a full gameplay on YouTube. Seems a more annoying version of Thy Flesh Consumed, and I didn't like that episode at all. Downloaded, but I doubt I'll play it anytime soon. Plus, I still haven't played Final Doom yet, anyway.
How did you get it to work?
How do you access it?

DadJoke007: A John Romero game gets a late release and doesn't live up to the hype. Who could have expected this turn of events?

dudalb: And I cannot get Sigil to run in Zdoom or GZ doom using the doom wad that comes with the gog version (1.9)
No episode five appears on the episdoe mendu for ultimate doom. And I have the sigil wads in the same place where I have the wads for my other doom engine g ames. Any advice?
WINDOWS ONLY:

Copy your DOOM.WAD file into the GZDoom directory. Drag and drop SIGIL.wad and SIGIL_SHREDS.wad onto GZDoom.exe to run it. The order in which you select the files is very important - select SIGIL.WAD first, then shift-click SIGIL_SHREDS.WAD, then drag them both onto GZDoom.exe.
Worked for me.
Loved it, but I'd recommend playing it on Hurt Me Plenty... unless you got something to prove.

Favorite track from the midi soundtrack was for the secret level...

wolfsite: Here is a review of Sigil

His recent reviews have been like his opinion of Sigil... disappointing.

Recommend Civvie's for a more rounded review.

GreasyDogMeat: ...
I haven't been that disappointed by Gman's reviews, I guess because I don't use his advice to decide what to purchase or just don't take him that seriously? I find his reviews fun generally I guess b/c of the short length and focus on FPSes.

But Civvie's review did kinda get me interested in his videos.
Here's another well-rounded review:

Been playing this and its AWESOME. Such a great "pure FPS" experience and fun to play (nothing beats blowing the crap out of bad guys with the satisfying kerchunk of the pump action shotgun (although I would suggest you use something stronger on those big ugly things with the horns)

Getting to play an entire campaign of levels made by the legendary John Romero is epic. It would be like if Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Mario) uploaded a bunch of levels to Super Mario Maker.

Free SIGIL II Megawad

The free SIGIL II v1.0 Megawad is now available. This small 2MB file is packed with some hardcore classic DOOM punishment — beware of Ultra-Violence mode!
Download SIGIL II v1.0

December 10 - DOOM's 30th Anniversary Stream with John Romero, John Carmack, and David L. Craddock
Thanks for the pointer.
Remember to select Complevel Doom Strict if you use GZDooM (because this is not a boom wad), or Complevel 3 in DSDA-DooM

Available also for Bethesda Port, but for some reasons also for DooM II (and also other wads are available for both games for some reasons...)

After reading the interview with Romero on his site, Sigil sounds pretty awesome ... hopefully it lives up to that.

Megawad 1 & 2 links and archived versions of Megawad 1 are available on the main page for the free downloads.

And a free cool wallpaper in two resolutions.

@OP - Thanks for the head's up. I had no idea about this 5th DOOM 1 episode by Romero.
