Still too busy with hentai shovelware, it seems. Well, I'll get it elsewhere, I've no love for this place anymore anyway.
When you manage to make Valve look more customer friendly than you, there's something seriously wrong with your activity.

As is often the case, GoG maybe just wants to see how it performs on the other platforms first. Or maybe a deal has already been struck and Selaco will just suddenly pop up here whenever it officially releases. Which, going by the preliminary "2255" release date seems all but certain at this point.

The upcoming demo being made available on GoG (maybe in June as part of another demo blowout?) too would be nice but no big deal if it doesn't, as far as I'm concerned.

Perhaps this is part of the issue? GOG doesn't generally list 'demos' (create store pages etc.) for indie games from other developers, does it? If all they have atm is a 'demo' of the game (i.e. not something that could even be considered a fully-playable in-development version), then perhaps the Selaco devs should try again, once they have a more complete/finished product?

The game looks amazing, here's a gameplay video.
This game should release on gog, why the fuck is noone responding to the devs?

It's not a RPGMaker porn game, the curation team has standards :D

not saying they have good standards.

What are you babbling about?
Why would anyone buy on GOG if it only shows up at the store after it's released spontaneously?
Is GOG that unaware that they lose substantial money by doing this? It needs to change.
And no, there is no precedent for whatever it is you're talking about.
Many games are here in demo form with a coming soon, even if they don't have firm release dates.

Selaco demo is releasing tomorrow.
Selaco dev isn't treating us like 2nd class citizens, GOG is.

For the same reason most people buy games on GOG (including many that are 20+ years old)? Because they want games that are DRM-free and not arbitrarily locked to clients like Steams. That is GOG's main (and some would say only) selling point.

No, GoG also manages to make older games run smoothly, while they run kinda crappy on Steam. It's also an argument for some people to buy them here on GoG, I guess then.

Indeed.
Is it that hard to just wait for the eventual release (which hasn't even been concretely dated yet, it's still "2255") and see if it gets released on GoG the very same day or sometime after?

Yeah, they choose pedophillic hentai games and reject actually good stuff.

Just noticed this thread on Steam.

Even if someone at gog finally responds to them (as if that is likely), they're probably too fed up with this place, which is understandable.

But those RPGMaker games from Kagura keep coming...because those games meet gog's quality standards. Sure.

Interstel Technologies/Trevor Sorensen didn't get a proper reply to their submission of STAR FLEET II - Krellan Commander v2.0 for what looks like 12-14 months either and it eventually was confirmed with a "coming soon" 5 days ago.

Same with Zodiac Legion, which had spent 11 months in the waiting queue before its developer was eventually contacted by GoG back in May.

Looks to me like there's a reasonable chance the same could happen in Selaco's case (as well as other still queued up submissions in the curation pipeline) too. According to his earlier posts in the thread Altered Orbit Studios/Wesley de Waart's first attempts to get Selaco on GoG coincidentally go as far back as, at least 12 months too.

Yeah, it depends whether they still want to release on GOG after being ignored for so long though. I really hope the game does come here, it looks great.
