Alrighty, folks. Bear with me, since this is the second time I've hosted a "forum Mafia" sorta game before.
The Puzzlemaster, after years of being involved with detective work, court business, and miserably-shirked business duties, decides to further neglect the boring Puzzle, Inc. management in favor of looking for a new (and quite likely brief) career to procrastinate with. Having crossed out interior decoration and truck driving, he strikes on a brilliant idea:
"THAT'S IT! I'LL BE A CELEBRITY!"
"Isn't your ego inflated enough?" asks Bookwyrm.
"Huh? How long have you been standing there?"
"Exactly my point."
"No, really, how long have you been there?"
"Since you called me over here three hours ago to hold this wire. Now that you're apparently back to reality, can you tell me why I'm holding this thing?"
"No idea, completely forgot while I was thinking about being a celebrity. Anyways, I just gotta figure something to be famous for and-"
"Aren't you going to spend your time as a celebrity getting bossed around by executives? I think that'd make a nice change for once," interrupts Bookwyrm.
"So, as I was saying, I'm gonna be a celebrity manager! One of those big-wig producers or executive or whatever?"
"And how do you plan to pull that off, genius? Do you think you're just going to throw up a sign outside the mansion and wait for celebrities to show up? And what about this wire?! You acted like it was important over the phone!"
About three days later, a long line of customers streams out of the Puzzlemaster's Mansion underneath a thin paper banner reading "PUZZLEMASTER'S STARMAKER SERVICES - APPLY WITHIN". From somewhere deep within the building, the sound of Bookwyrm grating his teeth together can be heard.
