real.geizterfahr: Fun fact: I just wanted to say something smart like "Don't waste the summer playing video games. Go to the beach instead."
I have a couple o' beaches less than a ten min drive away (would be quicker, but you gotta drive thru downtown traffic).

My fave outta teh two is such a smaaall, peaceful beach. Uuuh, until we get there :P
But fo' realz, you can get soft serve ice cream (teh superior kind), or fresh seafood, or Chinese, popcorn, or whatever you want.

They even have alot of classic, refurbished arcade gamies. Old like uuuh Pong then, an' Centipede (or is it Milly?), etc, buuut also Simpsons, Turtles an' teh like.

BTW is Bad North any good? The ratings don't seem to indicate so but it looks appealin'! And thar's SOME snow in it! Deluxe Edition om noms. Meh, I'mma hold off for now.

Sachys: THE THING

I was going to make a joke about giving you the cold shoulder, but last time i did that I woke up with a missing kidney! ;)
I forgot that one...how could I forget that one?!? That was one of my favorites......despite the inability to hear some of the dialog due to it cutting out on some systems.

Fairfox: I never heard of it so I Googled it. So it's based on a 1980s movie? The screencaps for that look scary and Nightmare Fuel as fuck; I'm neither watching nor playing that :P

Kidneys are fine, just don't ask for a liver.
The game is good, though, and a continuation of the movie's story. Also that movie is a remake of an older film btw.

Hitman 2: Silent Assasin got that annoying Japan missons.

Fahrenheit sets in winter, what a trip that final third of the game was.

It's less visually gory in the game, imo....and very fun ti play.

Also play Penumbra as I said before. The trilogy are some fun adventure/action games with a few fun stealth sections(though one can fight but it;s hard to do so).

Small and peaceful, yeah, one of my two favorite beaches/bays is exactly that. It's "in the middle of nowhere". You'll have to walk about 15 minutes through the forrest from the parking area - not a lot for me, but tourists are too lazy for that walk. Nature there is pretty awesome. There are cormorants flying around and lots of fish (including starfish) in the water, so it's a great spot to snorkel.

It has two areas. The larger one is where the few tourists go that don't mind the walk. The second and smaller one is where residents of the area go. On weekends there's about 15-20 people max, most of them drinking beer, smoking pot, eating, playing guitar and... being naked. I love that place. Just have a look at the pics attached to this post and you'll know why.

My other favorite beach is... a pretty weird place. During the season it's so freakin crowded, you just drop your towel wherever you find a bit of sand left that's not yet covered oO Squeezing yourself between strangers would already be awkward at a normal beach, but that one is a nudist beach! And if you're in one of the back rows and want to go for a swim, you'll have to climb over a crapload of other naked people, having your balls dangling right over their faces, trying not to trip over their bodies xP As I said: a pretty weird place. It's awesome during off-season, but you can't go there in July and August.
