Capcom and GOG strike again: this time around to reveal the re-release date of the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis!

Capcom's Resident Evil™ series has defined and revolutionized the survival horror genre, with the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 being standout titles that have captivated gamers worldwide. Now, it’s time to complete the trilogy.

Just like with Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, we made sure GOG's version of the third entry in the series is the best it can be. You can expect a variety of quality of life improvements, compatibility with modern systems, full modern controllers support, and even more.

That being said, we’re happy to announce that the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is officially re-releasing on September 25th, 8 AM UTC!

It’s coming in really soon – so wishlist it now, and get ready for the ultimate horror experience!

Can't wait.

I bought the bundle a couple weeks ago primarily just for RE2. Ended up blowing through that game in a day, replayed it the next day with Claire, and then played through RE1 (which I didn't even intend to play) the day after that. I'm having a lot of fun with these re-releases, and GOG did a great job sprucing them up.

So yeah, I'm definitely excited for RE3. I only played the game once on the GC back probably... 19 years ago at this point, and I don't remember a thing. Getting the chance to revisit that and play the PC version (which is arguably the best version of this one overall) is going to be great.
Nice to have the full trilogy already, tho I hope this isn't the only "new" GOG anniversary release

Let's hope RE4: Ultimate HD Edition and RE5: Gold Edition are next!.

Why? They're available else where. Dino Crisis series would be better.

I'd like to own them DRM-free, especially Resident Evil 5. Dino Crisis would of course be nice too.

Elsewhere, but not here, DRM-Free.
That's a much faster re-release than I expected and a very welcome one too. Lets hope Capcom is nice enough to keep the Resident Evil release train moving once the classic trilogy is fully available again.

I don't "buy" (rent) elsewhere. I want the whole Capcom catalogue here, DRM-free. I'd buy all their games.

Also missing a </i> somewhere :)
Leans over slightly.

Is this release going to be as carefully prepared as GOG's text formatting is?
