MarkoH01: Honestly, I don't know if I still WANT to support Ron anbd RtMI anymore. I asked multiple times on Twitter and got ignored completely. For somebody who always speaks out I have expected to get at least a short reply.
Come on, Ron Gilbert made very great games, there is no reason to suddenly not like him or not support him any more.
The previous one (Thimbleweed Park) wasn't just a great point'n'click adventure game but following its development was awesome.
It's a bummer all of this wasn't possible with RtMI (but then also most TWP players didn't/couldn't).
It's also crazy he was able to get the license in the first place (with for him acceptable terms), but now he isn't the publisher as he was with TWP and just can't do what he wants.
Especially communication is all up to what the publisher allows. (Ron probably doesn't have any time anyway, I'm sure there is still stuff to do and bugs to fix.)
TL;DR: Let's blame the publisher.
